Notes :
The Maserati Granturismo S has always been one of my most loved sports car :)
The replica in particular is a kind of East meets West :D, with parts taken from Japan to make this Italian beauty completely transformed.

This particular tune is for 500PP, aimed at light weight and good acceleration with custom close ratio gearing.

For LSD, a special model is used, Quaife ATB Competition differential, with medium initial torque for 500PP level, and high locking rate on drive side giving excellent traction which Quaife is famous for.

Suspension comes from Japan, a special model made by FORTUNE AUTO, the 510 Series Generation 4 Racing Coilover Kit with custom SWIFT Springs.
The 510 Series Gen 4 featuring Fortune Auto's new Ultra Double Digressive Piston ( UDDP ) with updated shim stacks, the Digressive piston allows for high low speed rebound force that effectively control dive, pitch and roll. The rebound force also greatly tapers off to provide the driver with a supple and compliant ride while maintaining superior mechanical grip over rough surfaces.
The replica has 14kg/10kg spring rate with optimal lowered ride height and damper + ARB tuned for exceptional balance.

The Maserati was tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP, Bathurst, Ascari, Laguna Seca, Trial Mountain, Nurburgring GP/F and Nordschleife.

When tested at Tsukuba, the car was capable of easy 1:04s lap on comfort soft and my best lap was 1:03s

ENJOY

Alternative Color and Wheel as posted on the tune - Mineral White and OZ Wave with Black Diamond Tricoat.

Thank you for waking up this asleep monster!
I tweaked nothing except camber zero, SH => SC Ascari 10 laps Winner!

Excellent setup! ;-)

@Ridox2JZGTE,
I havent forgotten you or the 450pp del sol. I usually have enough free time that getting 20+ hours to play GT6 a week isn't a problem. But the last couple of weeks have been busy for me. New work schedule, kids out of school on spring break, new car (can be seen at Member Rides) and family stuff has kept me away from my wheel.

The next time I have free time for GT6 testing out that del sol will be my first priority. 👍 👍

Sorry, phone typing error.

Sometimes it does happen :) Don't worry mate.

Hey Ridox! It's been a while since you posted up a Wangan Midnight replica. Is it because of Makoto's cars?

Hey Ridox! It's been a while since you posted up a Wangan Midnight replica. Is it because of Makoto's cars?

Not really, I have been really interested making FF car replicas recently :P, I have those cars bought ( Makoto GC8 and Z32 as well as Tomoya ACE DC2 and R32 GTR ), but I am having issues finding accurate power and weight figure, also visual parts. I have tuned the suspension on all of them, using real world coilover kits, as well as LSD. Would it be okay if I tuned the gearing for all of them to reach 300+kmh top speed ?

Yeah, sure. As for power, I have an idea. On one of Myogi's playthroughs, I saw KazaSupra's name pop up, indicating he was friends with Myogi. If we could ask him to get in touch with Myogi, he could ask him about the power output of Makoto's 300ZX (AND as I have just found out, Tomoya's R32) without power-enhancing tuning cards. As for the Impreza and Integra? Still got nothing on them, but I'll see if I can get some pics from the manga/model packaging/any other source.

EDIT: Alright, I managed to get an image for the R32:

03.jpg

EDIT: And another.

Plus, can we get someone who understands Japanese in here? I think this is an information sheet from the same source.

The Maserati Granturismo S has always been one of my most loved sports car :)
I decided to use Fortune Auto coilover as the single rate suspension and adjustable damper setup information of the real MC Trofeo is unknown. Nevertheless, this replica managed to replicate the 2013 lap time at Silverstone GP very closely.

Weight is at 1450kg ( 50kg heavier ) as I wanted to replicate the real weight distribution, and this does not affect the target lap time that I wanted to replicate at all. Also included above is 2014 power figure at 500HP, simply use 100% power limiter. Improve body rigidity is mandatory this time, as it's beneficial when racing tires are fitted. Any road cars in GT6 can use racing tire with no issues, all it takes is proper body rigidity level and suspension + LSD tuning to make the whole package works in harmony :D

For LSD, a special model is used, Quaife ATB Competition differential, with high initial torque for competition level and high locking rate on drive side giving excellent traction which Quaife is famous for.

Suspension comes from a special model made by FORTUNE AUTO, the 510 Series Generation 4 Racing Coilover Kit with custom ID 65 SWIFT Springs.
The replica has 18kg/14kg spring rate with optimal lowered ride height and damper + ARB tuned for exceptional balance on sport soft tire ( racing hard slick equivalent IRL ) and racing hard ( racing medium slick IRL )

The Maserati was tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP, Bathurst, Ascari, Laguna Seca, Trial Mountain, Silverstone GP, Nurburgring GP/F and Nordschleife.

When tested at Silverstone GP, the car ( 488HP ) was capable of easy 2:12s lap on sports soft and my best test lap was 2:10s, the real life pole lap in 2013 was 2:11.5xxx on racing hard slick tire, done by gentlemen driver, which a pro driver would be capable of 2:10s - so this replica is pretty darn close.

Andrea Cecchellero secured his first ever Maserati Trofeo pole position after a tough battle with Renaud Kuppens.

The young Italian’s time of 2:11.550 was 0.201 faster than that set by the reigning champion and favourite for the Trofeo Europa to be awarded here at Silverstone.

Ahhhh! I totally forgot about updating the info for Makoto's 300zx, I was looking up youtube videos a wile ago and I saw that she has a GT wing, as you can also tell from this she has white normal Volk TE-37, and a CF hood too. This is a video from the UK version of MT3 though and blackbird has a 350Z. So judging on that Makoto has a lot of HP, because this is chapter 80 which means the player is on the 5th series of story so I think that means they would have the max hp of 820. I'm still confused on the HP/Weight of the 300zx but thats the exterior done. :D And the 300+ top speed would be great too!

Thanks, I updated the tune, there has been another mistake, the LSD initial torque should be 34 :) I was using 500PP tune - copy and paste  You should try the car with sports soft and racing hard tire at Silverstone International :D

Notes :

The E82 1 Series M Coupe BMW 2011 year model, a must have for any BMW lovers in GT6. I considered the car as a spiritual successor of older M3 cars from the 80's and 90's. Call it M3 little brother :D, with it's compact appearance and wide stance, the sexy coupe is deadly on the track.

Based on the BMW Concept 1 Series Tii '07, this E82 1M Coupe replica is built incorporating one of the most famous suspension manufacturer, OHLINS.

Power is replicated at 335HP, with torque in real life in range from 332 to 370 ft-lb due to overboost function, I decided to set at 341 ft-lb without changing redline using intake and exhaust manifold.

The 1M weight is replicated at 1495kg, with distribution at 51.7 / 48.3 also replicated accurately via ballast weight and positioning.

For LSD, I tried my best to replicate BMW special M Differential Lock, with medium preload and locking rate, but still allows for progressive smooth response. As it's not possible to replicate variable E-Diff, I focused on driving characteristics and traction behavior on the limit.

Suspension as I mentioned, using OHLINS Road & Track DFV Coilover Kit, with spring rate :

Front 60 N/mm / 343 lbs/in / 6.12 kg/mm and Rear 120 N/mm / 686 lbs/in / 12.25kg/mm

Damper has been tweaked for balance of street and track, offering great traction on all situation with balance that can be dialed by the driver at a touch of gas or brake. Ride height has been set at 96mm front and back and optional ride height added based on recommended real life setup with slightly lower front.

The BMW 1M was tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP and Silverstone International. When tested at Tsukuba, it managed easy 1:06s on comfort soft, and a best of 1:05s :D

ENJOY

UPDATE 1.16 : Revised suspension ( ride height, damper, ARB, camber ), improved LSD, and corrected weight distribution ( ballast position ) Drives much better now on comfort soft. Added optional ride height ( originally used on older version ) and optional LSD accel for looser handling.

For LSD, I tried my best to replicate BMW special M Differential Lock, with high preload and locking rate, but still allows for progressive smooth response. As it's not possible to replicate variable E-Diff, I focused on driving characteristics and traction behavior on the limit.

Hey Ridox,

Great to see this build. I've got a 135i powered up to this level & now, thanks to you, I can finish the car with this info.
The 1M is a fantastic car and I totally agree about it being the spiritual successor to the E30.
Hopefully BMW M division bestow us with an M2 & M2CSL

Haha, I gave too much clue , indeed it's Z33 Endless/Tomei with over 370PS, I have 3 version built, 450PP, 500PP and the replica itself, it will not be 100% accurate replica as I don't have much info on LSD and suspension, but I have power, tire and lap time as guidelines.

I still wouldn't have picked up on that . I don't really follow drifting although the drivers have amazing skills and have my respect
