Why am I not surprised PD didn't use real world spring rates
Having said that, this is very interesting on many levels ;)

First impressions on the BMW M4 are very good, Ridox! 👍 :D It's interesting. I own 4 M4's - I keep one completely stock, one has various tunes from Exeter's Garage, one has some other people's tunes. I had been driving the completely stock M4 last night before you posted your tune. I said to myself "I think this car really needs much stiffer rear springs, but softer damping than the front" and sure enough that's how you posted the tune. :sly: The car is really planted nicely.

These 7 speed gearbox's perplex me. Sometimes I find myself downshifting into 2nd gear for a turn and when I put my foot down on corner exit I find myself in trouble - my rear end gets out of control. So, easy solution is to keep it in 3rd gear, right? I just hope that I'm not giving up any time pulling from 3rd gear instead of 2nd. Probably not because I would be shifting out of 2nd very soon anyway, but like I said - it perplexes me more than the traditional 5 or 6 speed gear spacing.

My brother sent me this photo from somewhere in Germany. When he gets the car back to the states he's going to be installing some BMW M Performance parts, like the black kidney grille, rear trunk spoiler, front lower splitter and an AWE Switchpath exhaust:

I've got 2 M4's myself. A completely stock version and my prediction of what a GTS version would be before the recently released concept was even shown. How spooky that your Brother is going for the very options I fitted. Alternate front air dam, black kidney emblem, small lip spoiler for the boot & the sports exhaust Ridox included in his replica build. I've also gone for +1 wheels, FC suspension & a few other enhancements under the bonnet for just under 500bhp. It's been on a diet too with the window reduction & stage 1 weight reduction but ballasted to be 50kg under stock GT weight.
Now that Ridox has given us a proper replica to build, I think I may have to visit the BMW dealer for a shiny black example like your Brother's.
I hope he'll let you have a drive when it's back local & yes, I'll be jealous & green with envy.

Nice looking M4 :) Your brother is one lucky guy :D

425bhp at 52000 rpm

 Sorry, I fixed it :P

Oooh! That's a good idea, @Pete05. I think I'll copy the Ridox Replica M4 onto one of my existing M4s, but then GTS it with a small weight drop, -10/-15mm ride height and small HP bump. See how she drives...

And I will be driving my brother's M4 the very first chance I get. Unfortunately, he lives in Tennessee and I live in Massachusetts, so I don't see him all that often, but it's been a while, so I might as well go visit him and his girlfriend anyway. I kind of want to wait until he has all those mods done to the car. It should look really sweet all blacked-out, especially once he gets the windows tinted a little bit. Plus, he's thinking of installing this Burger Stage 1 Tuner which will add a nice HP/Torque bump. He already has a Burger Stage 1 Tuner installed in his 2013 BMW X1 and it provides a nice punch even to that engine.

What do you guys think about my BMW M4 GTS ideas? Am I missing anything? Do you think I'll need any suspension adjustments with a -15mm ride height drop?

The Alfa Romeo 8C should be a good match to race with the Aston Maring DB 9 :D Both seems to be in the same power/weight ratio range, maybe the M4 can join in, but it maybe too quick for them  The Z8 also might do the trick.
It would be great. I'm thinking to drive those for four weeks, everyone to choose one car for each week, this way we will rotate them between us. :) 👍

I just noticed something, Ridox. I am not getting the same HP/Torque readings on my M4 Replica as you are. With the Sport Exhaust installed and Engine Limiter at 91.9% I am getting 405hp/414ft-lb... That can't be right. Stock, the car is like 425hp/406ft-lb... What am I missing?

EDIT: The build sheet says NO oil change - but I'm thinking it might need one. God, I freakin' can't stand this about GT6. Oil changes to boost HP/Torque. So unrealistic.

Well you could pay him a couple of visits. A welcome home Brother party perhaps? Take him out to dinner somewhere nice, get him on the fire water, keep yourself nice & then you have to drive home don't you ;) Play the same card once all those mods are done 👍
Speaking of mods, the Burger stage 1 sounds like a tasty HP boost :D Sorry, I couldn't resist :P

:ouch: Yeah, oil change is needed, will update the tune again :) Sorry.

I will post the Ohlins TTX version soon, that will be suited better for GTS treatment :)

And I saw this : BMW M4 GTS is already in US ordering system, likely set for week 9 2016 :

Well, after such a long time of waiting,my PS3 seems to be capable of running any game except GT6......I might have to take a break from the game now.At least I get MGS V to play for the time being,so it won't be so bad!!!Anyway, even not being able to play GT6,I will still keep an eye on this thread,so keep up with your good work!

One last thing, does anybody know whether T300RS+TH8A+T3PA-pro this whole set can play PS4 games or not?I heard some say it doesn't support the shifter or paddle

I had an identical situation not that long ago where my PS3 super slim would play my only other game (Red Dead Redemption) & play DVD's but refuse to load GT6. Turns out the problem was the Bluray reader/laser thingy. I had it replaced & all is back to normal. Apparently GT6 is such a large game, it's one of the first to run into problems.
To find out if the problem is in fact your Bluray reader, try playing a Bluray DVD. If it doesn't load, you've found your problem.
Good luck.

Check the game disc :) @ALB123 had issue with GT6 before, and it was the game disc fault. I just got MGS V Phantom Pain delivered to my house, Day 1 Edition Reg 3 ( JP ) as I have Ground Zeroes in same region. Can't wait to spare a few hours doing the prologue :D Recently got Ground Zeroes brightness setting dialed in on the plasma, the right picture not visible with no crush - true black + accurate shadow, I'll see if Phantom Pain can use same setting.

Phantom Pain
Back cover : 480p, 720p, 1080i :D Wow, I can force it to 1080i and 1080p like Ground Zeros, 1080p looks much better :P
Minimum disk space required 6600MB :grumpy: Looks like I have to free up some space :(

The MGS V on plasma looks different, especially the motion blur effect in cut scenes and gameplay camera movement, looks much cleaner in motion than with LED/LCD with standout contrast + color, but also shows the PS3 inferior visual effects compared to PS4 :(

@Ridox2JZGTE That's one of the drawbacks with having a high-performing display...the flaws in the source material are much more noticeable.

@ChauMing803, Ridox was correct when he said that I was having problems with my PS3/GT6. I thought it was the HDD at first. I tried a new HDD. That didn't fix my problems. I then tried an entirely different PS3 and that didn't fix my problems. Finally, I replaced my disc with a new copy from GameStop ($15) and everything was good! I would definitely try the suggestion of playing a different BluRay, if you have one laying around. It certainly may be the BluRay laser that's giving you fits. Good luck! Sorry to hear you haven't been able to play GT6 recently. Ridox has published some really nice cars recently too... :(

Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione

Hi my friends. If you have this replica prepared and have the mood for racing, I'll open a room for Sunday casual 30 km races on different tracks, first session available until 13:00 GMT (due to the Blancpain Sprint Live Race) and maybe a scond session from 15:00 GMT.

Room opened.

But my problem now is that my PS3 shuts off itself after playing for about half an hour(don't think it's the red light of death since it doesn't have yellow light, and it only occurs on GT6).Can a new disc solve this problem?I just long to play it SO DANG BAD!!!!!!

Well, the fact that you said you can run all your games just fine, except for GT6 leads me to believe it's either A) Bad disc or B) Bad BluRay lens. I would bet money on one of those being the problem. Sorry that I can't be more helpful.

Do you have any other CPU heavy game like Mass Effect, MGS 4 -5, Uncharted series, Fallout 3, Heavy Rain, Red Dead Redemption or GTA V ? Try play them, especially the dual layer disc like Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, MGS 4, if the lens is bad, they might crash at some point.

Just to let you know, my old PS3 slim used to shut down by itself after an hour or so, then around 30 minutes, it gets shorter, and more games had shutdown, then it gave me YLOD. The 1st sign is triple beep shutdown, and PS3 overheats ... :( Be sure to open up the console and clean the inside. I always clean the PS3 every 6 months now.

Do COD MW2,BO1,Ace Combat(the online one),Dynasty Warriors 8,Medal of Honor 2010(yes,I mostly play FPS or games with high speed LOL),these push the PS3 to its limit? And I didn't buy the later games in PS3,because DLC was not supported in my region and I had to buy them on Xbox 360...Give me some hints!!!Also tell me about the Thrustmaster set;)

I didn't open it,because I was too scared of screwing it up.But I did use a vacuum cleaner to get rid of the dust, and I also sent it to let the ones who know more about repairing PS3 try to cope with the problem,so I guess that counts as hqving cleaned it:P
Just an update,I asked my friend to borrow me his GT6 disc to test out the PS3.Here's hoping that it will work, cuz if not......that would be BS :(

Things have greatly slowed down around Ridox Replica Garage. Have you run out of cars that you'd be interested in making a replica build? I'm sure you've done all of the cars that you were excited to build by now. I know that interest in GT6, in general, is waning among the masses. Hopefully you aren't ready to hang up the wrench yet... :scared: :(

I could always suggest some replicas if you're out of ideas. :D

Sorry, I'm just busy with the MGS V Phantom Pain at the moment :) I have been having some more free time to play, will spare some for GT6 soon.
Oh, please...by all means, if you're enjoying a different game please continue to play that game!! I don't blame you for wanting something different to play. I was just wondering if you've perhaps gotten to a point where you've already built all the replicas that you personally cared about building. There are only so many interesting cars in GT6, ya know?

Oh a related note, I am beyond pissed off. The laptop that I ordered - after almost 3 weeks I had to cancel that order and place a new order because the base model laptop I requested was just discontinued by MSI. So, I had to get the newer 5th gen i7 CPU instead of the 4th generation CPU. It's a tiny performance bump for a couple of hundred more dollars. I was not very happy. Plus, I was not very happy with how long it took for XoticPC to inform me of this discontinued laptop! I should be playing Assetto Corsa by now, but no...I am still without my freakin' new laptop. It better get here soon.
