RIP Efrem Zimbalist - Actor

This is a bit of old news, but seeing as no one reported it, I guess I will.

Actor Efrem Zimbalist passed away on May 2nd at the age of 95. No cause of death is given. Zimbalist first gained fame in the 1980s by playing the then future Bond actor Pierce Brosnan's mentor in Remmington Steele. He later played Don Alejandro de la Vega in the 1990 TV series Zorro.

However, he gained the most recognition with his voice acting work, playing Doctor Octopus in Spider-man, Justin Hammer on Iron Man, and King Arthur in The Legend of Prince Valiant.

He echoed with fans when he voiced Alfred Pennyworth in Batman: The Animated Series. He later reprised the character throughout the DC Animated Universe, from series such as The New Batman Adventures, Justice League to Static Shock. His final performance in the character was in the video game, Batman: Vengeance.
