What's the deal with N/A1 N/A2?

First I thought it mention normally aspirated but then thought it could be tires?

NA1 and NA2 are NSX chassis codes as Onboy explained. NA1 is the first generation w/ pop-up headlights, NA2 is 2nd gen with fixed headlights. NA2 also (to my knowledge) brought a few suspension tweaks and a somewhat different wheel/tire combination.

My original "Type R Zero" was a 1997 NSX Type S Zero that was a bit oversteery.... And by a bit I mean a lot but ridiculously fun. This NA2 is still a blast but it's more of a precision instrument rather than being somewhat akin to trying to turn 90 degrees while running with a sledgehammer.

I was testing the SLS tune, but i cant get the gearbox to set right :S

Is there anyone who can help me with it? I run KM/H, no miles!

Some gear ratios are impossible to align with the ones posted

It's the chassis code for the NSX…I think. I know even less about cars than you! But if I'm right, the NA1 was the one Senna did, the original. And the NA2 is the newer one with fixed headlights, the one we can call Roj's girlfriend

Roj, I have a tuning question for you: Is adding a chassis reinforcement / strut bar mod beneficial for a car without a rear wing? I came across a tune for an M5 without the chassis reinforcement and wing and the car was grippy.

I was thinking if I tried the same thing with the RKM setups would also yield the same result?

For some cars yes, because they need the extra stiffening to stop them from oversteering so much. The M5 isn't bad with it's oversteer so if you can make it grippy without the strut brace and wing, more power to you. 👍

If you removed the strut brace from our tunes they'd get a little more oversteery but in most cases they'll still run well.

I've not been sent any Lambo from uMad yet (if he has then it never reached my inbox) and your cars aren't in this batch.

So far it's JG's SL, a 430bhp NSX and a Copen. The other two I'm hoping will be JG's 512BB and Lampuh's R10.

Nope. I've not touched the 512 or R10 yet because I've been working on RSG.

Before I went to Singapore, I had everything up to chapter 29 written up so I wasn't under pressure to write anything the moment I came back. It's caught up to me a bit now so I'm up to writing 32 now so that's a good month's worth of relaxation if I need it. I don't write a chapter per week and risk dropping the ball like last time.

What's the top speed of your Veyron anyway? When I was drafting with the Enzo, I was doing 274 before hitting the rev limiter in 6th.

They didn't call me back so I assume they're not going to even give me an interview. Back to the search.

Top speed without draft is around 280…I think. But with draft, I've seen 295mph out of it.

Ah well, too bad, better luck next time. It's their loss anyways

Um……RJ…the gears on your NSX…are a bit…scary…I can't get those numbers and if I make do, it gives a theoretic top speed of 315mph…

It's a similar thing to what his Corvette does. It makes the tranny whine go low and weird.

I can't get it to work…I've tried every method I know of with the tranny trick, but I can only get 1st and 2nd. The others are all out of reach, and the numbers are out by some 0.500 in 4th gear.

4th:-- 1.595
5th:-- 1.324
6th:-- 1.123
7th:-- x.xxx
Final: 5.140/2.730
Max Speed: 211

Default the gearbox, set final to 5.140, set max speed to 211, set final to 2.730, then all ratios like normal. If you're not using the right parts (RJ's NSX uses different parts to mine), you probably wont get the right ratios.
