Chuck Tesla

An electric car? Is it a prius? A Tesla! Cool let's get started. Oh it already has? Ok then.

Firstly it looks like a elise with more modest aero parts. Underneath though its completly different. Even though it is electric it produces 278 bhp. So its not your average eco mobile. That becomes clear as it pollutes the earth with burning rubber.

And it looks absolutly amazing! The sound goes from being a low pitched whine to a screaming pitch once you hit 8000 RPM.
So the overall preformance?
Well with all parts besides rigidity improvment, stock settings can't handle the power ultimatly ending in a spin. This led to a 1:20:626 at TGTT.
Now with RKM tuning it still slides but it is really good fun and easily controlled.

This brilliant car set a 1:17:911. Result!
So this car proves electric cars can be good! (Besides my Golden Prius TC which is epic!) End.

But of course. Also you can't make EV's more powerful. They don't even gain power from mileage.

Not sure if review or some kind of written piece for school. Can't really say much other than thanks and I guess your debt is paid off, partially. :P

Also I may have to do a lap around the Nurburgring myself, just to see how many seconds I can slash off of that 7:29.

I just had to move my lazy ass and do something productive.

Expect this to land in G.T.R's shores with some revisions, because I miserably failed to sound like XboxAhoy in text form. And I forgot to tell you, I might as well have this guy try a tune of yours...

NO! No no no no no...you will not go anywhere near my RE RX7 you fiend. Mine! :dopey: :embarrassed:
Que? I've got my own RE FD thank you very much. :P
I think mine is the only car I have to pass the 1000 miles mark purely through A-spec driving and practises...and online slaying sessions too! :D It may well be the only tuner I like more than my G37, which has recieved a new paint job and even more tweaks since I slaughtered you with it Roj :embarrassed: we really need to do that again :D and see if you can keep your Amuse S2000 on the track this time too :sly:

EDIT: ALSO, I might have to post up my, erm...special Tesla too. It's very christmas-y :sly:
Perhaps I will have to stop being so gentlemanly then. :P
Umm…well, the i- concept is sort of a EV, right? Or am I wrong? But that can be given more punch…
The i-Concept has a normal engine.
Chuck Tesla
Thanks for the review! Despite being Elise based, the Tesla handles nothing like its cousin, so tuning it wasn't a case of copy and pasting Elise settings. Glad the tuning resulted in such a huge improvement. :D
Interesting. Never seen this before.

One more thing before I leave, Roj. As much as I love how my Countach became a one-off because of returning the PS3, you can tell me that you need to tweak it for Spec 2.0 when you have the 25th Anniversary edition ready. I still remember that you're gonna release the settings when you have both Countachs up. ;)

Yeah, just need to get round to that. And yeah, I remember that too. :P

Edit: The C63 AMG has been overhauled. Unfortunately you'll have to buy another C63 AMG if you wish to update your current one, because I took the engine tuning down a couple of notches.

Also I am aware that I'll need new banners for it.

Was that before or after I literally destroyed it in my RX-7? :sly:

No idea :dopey: I love how since Roj released the G37 and Amuse GT1 Turbo tunes, I now cannot release my own versions that beat his so easily :sly: unless I tweak them onto Racing tyres...which is far too much effort to do without some serious persuasion

We should have a race sometime soon. I'll beat you, you'll beat Roj and Roj will just fall off the track.

Until you set your PS3 up, I won't believe it. :D

Pah, whatever you say...I need to, erm, swap mine. Well I bought a 320Gb bundle so I could give the bundled game as a christmas present, but for an extra £20 I get the same game, Fifa 12 which I will trade ASAP (eww eww eww) and some terrible blu-ray too, which I can also trade. So basically, I like getting paid, and you need to be patient :P

Shouldn't cars simply "handle better" on slicks?

Shouldn't cars simply "handle better" on slicks?

A fair few cars behave differently on slicks, believe it or not. Some cars end up with too much grip, especially on the front end, so a car setup on the limits on S3s can end up behaving very strangely on R1 or R3 tyres.

Some do, some don't, some just become undrivable. Take a typical FF from here on sports tyres. If you equip racing tyres on it, the rear will start skipping around because racing tyres aren't supposed to go sideways, so they start skipping. This doesn't happen with sports or comfort tyres, which is why I take advantage of the soft rear springs.

Skipping? What, like bounce up and down? Or do you mean…loose?

And all I want for christmas is GT5 Spec 2.02 :D

Y U STILL NOT AVAILABLE??

Just drive the Crimson R with racing soft tyres online and you'll get a good definition of what skipping is.

Also I managed to download the update fairly quickly this time. Must've got in before the sea of GTP'ers.

Good solid tunes, guys! +1
I absolutely love the Enzo GT. Amazing!! Even though it's not "Spec II-Ready". Very solid tunes.

I have the update, i updated my C63 AMG and he will be tested this afternoon. Also i fully restored my 270R to 0 kms and all original. And im gonna break it in till 300km's so the motor has been broken in. And then i'll wait for the tune. You will read more from me in a few hours!

So…what do you think of the GT86 then? I personally think it's a dull disappointment, while Andre thinks it's 'unbelievably stable', but I think we all agree that they nerfed it far, far too much. It's gone from 232hp and 1000kg to 192hp and 1200+kg. And it's so boring that I crashed off cuz I got bored of it when racing Andre online.

Tried it on Eiger and it never tries to skid. It's like a train that runs on strong magnets. And I was the first one to say that Toyota nerfed it into a class it doesn't deserve :P Well at least it sounds better than the FT86... but that's just me.

And Roj, any chance of tweaking the V8 giants like the Corvette ZR1 and the SLS AMG for Spec 2.0? I couldn't live without their motorized music...
