Tunes? I haz 0. I don't even understand the simple concept of stiffer spring or softer spring But I'm gonna try to start tuning after I read all the tutorials around here.

I was planning an event for the end of the month, not entirely certain if I will still do it though, it's one hell of a lot of work to manage by phone...

I was thinking of making a really dumbed down tuning guide anyway. No theories, no calculators, just basic "this does this" and "that does that" sort of thing.

That would be pretty helpful to me, considering that I can't tune FWD cars, only RWD cars and 4WD cars. ~Turtle

Do it. Just do it. Even reading through the most basic of guides sends me into a coma with my brain down in confusion.

Yeah, I don't know how you do it. I've looked at your setups to try and see what you do, but It's nothing I don't already know, so I'm not quite sure why I can't tune FWD cars. I'd better learn quick too......~Turtle

How Helpful. Naw, like I said, I know most of that, (Gone through every tuning guide I can find and read my 'Apex' book front to back a billion times) maybe I should just stick to RWD and 4WD cars. Sooner or later I'll figure it out I suppose.....~Turtle

More helpful than you think. I was basically saying 'look at the diff and the spring rates + ARBs in Roj's cars'. Try that style, stiff front, squishy arse, low front/high rear ARBs and then nick the diff from say…RJ's C30RS. Or whichever high powered FF you prefer.

Mind you, I know nothing, so don't believe everything I say.

I can definitely help with 4WD and Rally cars! I have (so far) foolproof tuning strategies for 4WD drift, rally and circuit tunes, as well as front and rear drive rally cars. I might put my experimental C3 'Vette rally car up on share if anyone wants to try and beat a 4:30~ish on Eiger K Trail

Most annoying thing is that I only have one Viper set up for top speed, and that's the original Python, mainly because of the need for such a long box. The others are all lower powered, besides the SRT10 Sprint, which maxes at 198mph nothing can keep up with it

Same here. The only car I currently have set up for top speed is our Enzo.

Yeah but the Enzo does that anyway and apparently my Sprint Viper is extremely unfair...what's unfair about a 950bhp car with a (relatively speaking) close-ratio box? it can shame LM cars easily just with acceleration

Only to be put to shame on every corner and short straight by the Vipah and I can pull 230 with my '06 'Clipse GT, with it's supercharged 3.8 V6
