Therefore the Version VI (Year '99) is used.

Ahhhh! Ok, good call then! That makes sense, keeps the car as close as possible to the real one. I can't believe there isn't a Version V coupe out of the 1000 + cars and their duplicates :dunce: I'll PM you about possible reviews for the tunes.

Hey guys my time zone is GMT-4, looks like it may be a bit troublesome to practice all together :P

Yeah, I probably just can meet you Hannibaal at Saturday Morning 8am which equals to 8pm Friday night. (vasho would be 2am??)

I do see vasho pretty often online. Cause it's just 1/4 day apart. Usually see him when I'm on at 10pm weekdays which equals to vasho's 4pm. (Hannibaal would be 10am).

ANOTHER THING GUYS, since we're all in both GTTC and LotS, so when we meet online, are we Rivals first then Team mates? or the other way round!? haha...

Hey there.

With 2am you mean 2am Saturday Morning at my place? If yes than i could get up and we could meet and have a race. If its on a weekend i do not mind what time we would meet.
So lets set a fix date and race!!!!
And I think that we are first team mates and than rivals!!!!!

Hello Teammates from Team PROTOSS.

The GTTC Event is getting closer and closer. So we should decide who is going to be running the first event.

I suppose all of you have the track Horsefish Pass downloaded.

As my car of choice is tuned up to 500PP and we cannot use the power limiter i tuned another car to 460PP. It is a 4WD as i am not good with FRs. But to be true i do not feel comfortable with that car. And I do not have the time to tune a car again.

We should decide who is going to be running which class. I prefere the 500PP class.

My best time with 460PP on the Horsefish Pass was 3:25 something.

And do not forget the rules - always 2 wheels on the track. If you go off track you will be disqualified.

And the idea of sharing a car - i do not like it that much - as each car is setup to the drivers preference - it must not suit the others as well. So thats why the proposal to decide who is going to drive which class.

But each of us should have a car for each PP class - as one driver might not be able to show up on the given time for when the event takes place.

Cheers

Good points, I suggest Hannibaal go and represent us. He already has his RX8 setup for 460PP. We can help you out on the training. Mock battles on the horsefish pass course.
What do you think Hannibaal?

I'm also not sure how the competition times are, but I think it'll be posted up soon.

jez0099
good tunes nice to find a tuner that dosent have fully tuned cars with R/S tyres :)

Thanks! Yeah, just something a little different. If you're looking for sports soft, there are still a number of tuners that tune to this thread spec.

Yeah good idea. Hanniball in his Mazda RX8 is really good!!!!!
Yep mock battles are good idea.

And the date is allready posted - 16.july around 5PM CST!!!!!!

BTW your car has how much PP Timber???

The MR2 on the video is 450PP, the one I use for LotS. I do have a 420PP MR2 for GTTC.

5pm cst... so that's 17th July 6am my time... I think.... haha...

One thing I've really enjoyed each time you've put up a tune isn't actually the tune itself....it's the effort that you have put into your designs with your tune sheets. I personally really appreciate it when people do things like this with their own custom part numbers and other small details like that, it's setting you apart from everyone else visually and makes this a very respectable garage to visit and take a stroll through, even before you look at the tunes. 👍👍

You make me jealous in a good way of this garage for that reason!! :D Keep up the great work TimberW and I'm liking the stuff you keep turning out, nice and not too spicy tunes, makes it a nice change for people who want to just cruise around. 👍

The part numbers are actually based on actual real life part numbers. And the settings of the tunes are vaguely based upon the real life counterparts. Especially spring rates.

You can find it in the links from Parts and Tuning References. :)
Thanks for your encouragement. It's nice to get noticed. Especially when there are many other big tuners out there! My tunes may not be the best. But it's really out of pure enjoyment.

Hey Timber - i tuned a Levin based on your tune for the AE86. As all my AE86s are overpowerd etc..
The Power is tuned up to 420PP but everything is exactly as in your Tune Set Up.

I must say it is an awsome tune. I actually am able to drive the car without spinning out - as in most of the cases with an FRs car.

And i have to admit that this Garage has beutiful tunes.

And all the work you put in - especially linking them to the original parts - thats just shows how much effort you put into this.

Thanks man! I tuned it to Takumi's driving style, I'm not a great drifter, but I think that car has both grip abilities as well as drift capabilities when needed. I tuned it in such a way that hard braking will induce the rear to slide and control the drift from there!

I put a lot of time on the AE86, since Initial D GT Stage Act 001 if you still remember those days... but the tuned has changed a lot since then, but the tuning concept was based around that Initial D challenge few months back!

Yeah i remember. And the car behaves exactly like that. Its a dream to drive.

👍👍👍 I will make the next video with this car tuned by RTL Garage. So look forward to it.

You can check out Trivial Tunes' SKYLINE GT-R V•spec II Nür (R34) '02.

I'll eventually come out with a R34 tune also based on the God Foot, but I haven't have time to sit down to do research on parts and tune the settings. If you're looking for something for LotS. Check out the tune above. It's tuned on Sports Hard tyres as well. 👍

Yep i can only recommend that tune. As it was tuned on my request. You can see a kind of video review of that car tuned by Trivial Tunes on my sub forum.
Check it out to see how that car behaves on the TOUGE.

It still understeers really bad

Well its just about how you hit the corner. If it understeers you probably are going to fast into the corner.

This car is really heavy - so you need to take that into account as well. I got used to it and now i can throw my car around the corners as if it would be an RWD.

Yeah, I'm taking this opportunity to congratulate Hannibaal for being the runner up for the GTTC last Saturday! He showed up just in time and went full on. Having never driven the track and also no warm up. Way to go buddy!

One for the PROTOSS Team.

Hey guys just wanna announce that i finished 2 on the 500 pp event.
Was great but that lotus elias was in the end to fast.
The race went into 3rd round and in the end my tyres where gone. But it was close. Have to work on preserving my tyres.

BTW. Team Protoss is 1 in the leaderboard. So Timber you better not loose and bring the 1st win home for team Protoss!!

Edit: sorry for any mistakes written on my HTC desire hd handy

Yeah man! Congrats! I saw it this morning on page 1 on the GTTC page. When I woke up, the event was all over already, lol. But cool man. All the pressures gonna be on next week!

Thx man. I was there all alone :( But it was good none the less. So you shoud practice and practice now.

Crazy Tune, love it

Thanks so much for the Video Review!! Never expected that so much from a reviewer!

Lately, I've been so busy with Legend of the Streets that I don't have time to churn out new tunes. I'm still tuning my Touge SW20 for LotS with the upgraded hp and reduced weight on Sports Hard. It's interesting and challenging. Just gotten used to the car and now slowly tuning it to spec.

I'm scared that when I go tune other cars, when I get back into my LotS SW20, I need to re-adapt to driving it and will not be ready for any LotS battles!

Man, I'm really feeling the pressure to perform now! LOL. There's so many top drivers in GTTC. I'll do my best! I still have this week to practice before this weekend! After you two came in runner up, seems like I've gotta do my best as well!

Then I better hold of LotS until after GTTC. I don't want to be driving two different cars at one time, later my reflexes gets confused!!
