Road America - REVISED

I revised my initial version reducing the corner radius in some places to fit the map better, now it's only about 200 feet short. Banking is set to normal. Curbs are in their real locations, and I added additional curbing where there is asphalt runoff. I've raced against the AI with the Audi LMS, and it was quite enjoyable, but I still don't like the curb modeling in Eifel.

So I've gone back and made a painstakingly precise template from the satellite image of Road America, and came up with a 4.00 mile course. There must be some distortion in the satellite image, because I was able to follow the template perfectly, and still come up short, or the scale of my template missed the mark, maybe I can tweak it to get the extra 4 hundredths of a mile.

Next up the Road America competition map, only problem is they didn't put a scale on it, and the lengths don't have start and end points so it's hard to gauge the scale easily.

I've now had a chance to run and record a race on this latest version and it's definitely a keeper. Here's a video of the race + replay in a stock Subaru BRZ R&D Sport which should give a decent impression of this incarnation of the circuit - if not how to drive well on it
