Road Rallies

What are some of your favorite road rallies? As of the date of my typing, Speed is showing Targa Newfoundland. Perhaps you've competed in a road rally. There (was) a forum on the Targa Tasmania, I believe. This is just a general thread on road rallies, so let's talk about them.

I'm watching the Targa Newfoundland. I've seen quite a few Mustangs so far! Nice assortment of old and new cars in this race. And it goes to show that you don't really need 4WD sedans to go rallying. I wished I could have seen more of the race, but I had to attend to a wedding. Anyhow, road rallies. Reply.

I've always like the idea of road rallies but I've never watched any, unless of coarse you count wrc on tarmac to be a road rally. Can anyone give me more info on road rallies?

The Newfoundland is the newest one.I here that they have a great one in New Zeland.

SCCA sanctions amateur rally in the US and a great many cars are classed based on modifications to the car.
