The real problem with these races is that instead of being free runs, which they ought to be, they are against an AI that forces you to have to reset constantly. For all I know, other than the fact that I was not able to fit my name, board and which round I was racing as a possible reason I got a dnf, is that there may have been incendences where I got whacked by the AI and gained an advantage, but how can I possibly avoid all of that? The ai will go too wide, straight line through a corner and whack you. Sometimes you cannot even see them. If I am sliding through a turn, is it really fair to expect that if anoth car suddenly drives in front of me that I should break of the line, assuming that I see the other guy, and lose a lot of time? If you break of a line, you can end up being rear ended. Frankly, after rnd 9, which I know will have drives getting logic defying times of 1:45, I intend to do few online races involving the ai. If you want to challenge me, please make it a free run/time trial one. I'm just trying to make sure I have this straight, if I'm sliding and some guy hits me, though that was not my intent, and I get pushed in at a faster speed, I should reset it? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something.
