Oh well, we'll have to take the DNF then I can't do it I'm PAL and it's a bit short notice for anyone else to do it .
Nevermind Talentless forget this race you've tried enough and thanks, but when you've rested and had some prozac get on your race 9 or else :mischievous:

T, you can do it man. Just relax and take it easy with the Celica, don't push her to hard.
Get in a good clean run and post up your replay of it. I got faith in ya. Make it happen.

Only 15 mins left

T no one can say you didn't try . Although I must say I thought you'd have had a race save earlier .

God how I hate the way cars interact with your handling. Damn them for dropping adjustable downforce in most cars. even at 45 mph you need the df equivalent of a mack truck in pounds

What happened?

Me not being around when T posted his time, that's what happened :( :banghead: :banghead:

I saw soon after the deadline that Boom had posted the replay then came here to check if he'd done a time saw that the time was here 5 mins late and just assumed then that Boom had sent the time to them . I've tried explaining to them, I'm really sorry I couldn't get to the pc after I had posted 15 mins left and thought it was all over anyway :embarrassed: :banghead:

ok, i'm fine with the dnf, but how the hell do these people get those times????

damn it, you work so hard, the tires are at their limit and that?

:irked: Tried out Big P's set-up and instantly went from mid to low 1:19's to running mid to low 1:18's without to much fuss....man I'm so 🤬 pi$$ed I'm $hit at these races that need a good set-up. Will attempt to get a better result for race ten anyways....... Cheers ;)

The real problem with these races is that instead of being free runs, which they ought to be, they are against an AI that forces you to have to reset constantly. For all I know, other than the fact that I was not able to fit my name, board and which round I was racing as a possible reason I got a dnf, is that there may have been incendences where I got whacked by the AI and gained an advantage, but how can I possibly avoid all of that? The ai will go too wide, straight line through a corner and whack you. Sometimes you cannot even see them. If I am sliding through a turn, is it really fair to expect that if anoth car suddenly drives in front of me that I should break of the line, assuming that I see the other guy, and lose a lot of time? If you break of a line, you can end up being rear ended. Frankly, after rnd 9, which I know will have drives getting logic defying times of 1:45, I intend to do few online races involving the ai. If you want to challenge me, please make it a free run/time trial one. I'm just trying to make sure I have this straight, if I'm sliding and some guy hits me, though that was not my intent, and I get pushed in at a faster speed, I should reset it? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something.

T, your replay was deemed acceptable by the GTN replay verifiers.
What had happened was a combination of a few things that led to the DNF.

1st being that the replay didn't get posted up on time.
2nd, In my haste to get to work no later than I already was, I failed to PM the GTN admins of your time.

technically, there were submissions after mine, but what's done is done.
