Thanks again guys! I was a bit undecided as I felt maybe the second photo lacked a bit of realism compared to the first photo, but then I think the first photo lacks a bit of visual impact. So nice to hear your opinions 👍
Beautiful HDRs! You were right to upsize the last one - it's amazing. The colour tone and composition are great. I also like the lens flare - it was done just right.
EDIT: Also I meant to say I've been wanting to comment on a lot of your galleries recently, but seeing as a lot of you have been posting photos for this week's CCCL comp (which I'm judging) I felt it only fair to reserve judgement for now.
Hehe I'll let you know in due course, I've been waiting for Le Mans to finish, so I'll try and get the rest of the photos finished before the f1 later.
So here is the update I was talking about earlier; I must stress that I have not added anything or any filter to these images. The only things I have done are:
- Remove the GT5 watermark and replaced it with my signature.
- Very small adjustments to colour balance, saturation, exposure etc.
The light effect that you can see, that highlights the lines of the car (sort of like a glowing edges effect) is out of the game. I took the photo at Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 at night, approaching the first chicane. I was actually trying to catch backfire, but the car glowed when I paused it (see my mobile phone pics below; sorry about the poor quality).
The only thing that I can think that caused it is the floodlight at the side of the road. I personally haven't seen this in GT5 before, and I don't know if it is possible with other cars as I haven't had time to try and replicate it yet.
Let me know what you think, oh and I hope you like the HDR's too!
