Not quite sure why adding a race exhaust make my 3400S sounds like some sort of 4cylinder, still Autumn ring is a challenging track to get the most out of; time submitted.

I know It's a little late to ask this, but is it ok to use our tunings from the last round?

EDIT: I did not make this post at 12 PM. my clock was WAY off

good. thanks :D! My tune might be screwed up now, though, since I had to add 10 HP with the racing exaust

Don't worry, it won't screw up the tune.

For the first couple of sessions I accidently had a racing chip installed as well as the exhaust. When I removed it you could only tell a very dlight difference in acceleration, and I ended up beating the racing chip time as well.

That's good to know. I was concerned because of a time when I was rally-tuning an R34 Skyline, with all of the parts installed except for an upgraded turbocharger. When I added the turbocharger after tuning it, my tune made the car handle worse :yuck:.

Then again, that was in GT5, not GT4, so I shouldn't worry.

Well Done to Bopop4, who takes the win by just 2 tenths in this round and moves up into joint second place after 3 round.
Can you post a video of your lap to show us how it's supposed to be done.
See you all in the next round which is Suzuka, Good Luck

The funny thing is that had done a 1'21.229 but there was only 1 wheel on in the first little bit. The funny part is that after I looked over the split times, cutting the kerb too far actually had slowed me down by a bit. So there was .5 of a second left in the last 2/3rds of the track. :ouch:

There is a typo on the graph. If thc and bopop are tied for 2nd, I should be in 3rd and you, northmeade, should be in 4th. You accidentally skipped third and put 4 and 5.

EDIT: no, I'm not pretending to be smart. I know I'm not very bright.

Thanks, I was worried though as we're usually 2-3 tenths apart and I had another 2-3 tenths in that lap.
And after looking over the TT series that you ran, I've noticed that you've picked up a lot of time in a couple of months. Do you use a wheel or DS2?

1. Well for that I was hosting; my main goal was for the comp to run smoothly, not necessarily win each week, so I didn't spend as much time trying to perfect my laps, also I posted my times when the week started, so everyone had my times to aim for.
I've been playing GT4 for a while now, so any perceived difference is probably due to me doing 5-10 laps practice for my comp compared to probably more like 10-20 for this one. (Remember we probably have different suspension settings too (since wk2).
Also, my current GT4 activity is chasing A-spec points which definitely keeps you sharp.
Or maybe, my driving style just suits the RUF better. (Though it doesn't feel feel that way to me, I still feel like I'm fighting too much understeer)

2. It's in my sig; DS2.
You can watch my replay from round two (you'll notice that there's no partial throttle, its all or nothing, (occasional tapping aside)

For 1. Ah, that makes sense.
For 2. I do the same, I find that feathering the throttle slows me down, either full on or off is best for me.

And your TTs were actually the thing that got me back into GTP, and by extension friends, bronys etc. So thanks. :)
And it also helped me get my best lap that I've ever done in a game ever. The Alpine at Monaco.
