RUMOUR about GT

If they pushed back GT5 that far (which would royally piss everyone off), I might buy Prologue 2. But why spend $50-60 for another demo when the full game is due in less than a year?

You will buy it and you will like it I said! Only joking mate, just a bit of fun.:)

Tenacious D, oh well hello there.:) Yet another wonderful personal remark on a different thread from you. I'm sorry, I'm new to the forums, so it will take me a while to meet all the wonderful characters like yourself that are part of pretty much every forum.

So do tell Tenacious D, KY has not broken any promises really but in fact many other games makers have. Why, once again, thank you for you insightful and well thought-out post, replying specifically to mine. No doubt I will hear again from you in the near future.:indiff:

You could keep from making yet another one of thousands of typical useless rants. We're quite well versed on how much GT sucks compared to the rest of the racing world, believe me. ;)

I'm sorry, did someone say that GT sucks compared to the rest of the racing world? I must have missed that... As for my useless rant, well I'll post what I want and when I want as long as it's in line with the AUP. Regardless of what paranoia induced reply it may cause from over-defensive and confrontational forum members like yourself.

If I may, going back on topic please.:) EB Games is hardly going to have more inside info than the world wide GT fan base hunting for every bit of GT5 news and posting it on here or other GT fan sites. I recently visited one of our EB Games stores here in Auckland and the customer service chap didn't strike me as one knowing much...

By the way, osg, could you please give me your 85 year old's grandmother's contact details? I am very interested in what inside GT5 details she's got.:)

Well, there is this thing known as either "making stuff up" or "putting words in other people's mouths." I don't think it's "paranoid" to call someone on presenting one's opinion as fact, such as insinuating that Kazunori made a slew of promises about Prologue he didn't keep.

GT5p2???

Hahaha, not only did GT5: prologue mess with the general public's minds about what it is....this would make people go nuts.

For instance, many of us know that GT5p has caused debate of whether it's a demo you have to pay for or a held-back game from PD in comparison to their normal releases. Take your pick, it is what it is.

So in my opinion, not only is Gran Turismo 5: Prologue 2 a really long name, it would make people go  :D

Would I buy it? I guess it depends what sort of content it held. A spec IV update makes more sense to me. Regardless, I'm looking forward to about a month or so from now for GT5 info.

Not gonna happen.
It dont make any sense, launch a GT5P2. Maybe the seller want to say that they will replace the GT5P copies for others who have Spec III (IV?).

And i dont believe that EB Games know more than GTPlanet, take a look at last Amar's post and how it blow up in famous and respected games sites/magazines. :P

Never seemed to have this problem with the previous Prologue and it was smaller..

BTW, if a prologue 2 did come out (it wont) I would still buy it if it offered something new.

Forget the idea of a GT5P II.
Just give us a nice Spec IV update with a few more cars and tracks and then we will wait patiently for the full release.
Why would you want them wasting time on intermediate updates when they could be focusing all their effort on the full game?
