This is a replay of the S-10 event with PRO physics on, and it's the JPN version of GT5 Prologue. (NTSC/J) :)
There were a few minor touches with the AI cars, hope you won't mind. :P
I managed to catch the leader before Spoon Curve on lap 3, I don't know why, maybe it depends on the starting grid of the cars every races. This time the leading car is still the Blitz ER34 Drift Car (starting 1st of the grid).
I can't run as fast I did last time, lacking of practice for 5 days does matter on me! LOL :dopey:

ps: I was using my alternative PSN a/c while playing that event, it's EAst-R_ANDREW [HK] instead of GTP_andrewyhy [HK].

Blitz R34 is the leading car? If im not mistaken the lead car in the PAL version is the GTR Black Mask isnt it?....

well, wasn't GT-R Black Mask belong to the Spec I event?
I'm not sure about that, 'cause the S-10 event (with PP) became Tuned cars event since the Spec II update onwards (for the JP version, I thought all events should be the same among all versions, shouldn't it?).

Wait, perhaps we've got it the wrong way round - the original S10 on JP had the black mask. I just watched a S10 version on YouTube and a S2000 was leading:

Could someone clear this up, please?

Edit: Thanks to Chronos for the video above.

I guess it has gotten a lot easier the new update?.. Or people have got better at driving :P

I managed to get 1st on pro physics in S-10 (first by near end of lap 3). I used the GTLM but I think the Amuse S2000 and other cars could easily do it, I only spent a couple of minutes tuning.

The pro setting with R1 feel like the old standard physics. I remember these events were a lot tougher in April but the game has quickened up a lot and is very forgiving.

Pro Physics S-10 Replay is for Europe PAL copy.

I watched this re-play very closely and noticed something very interesting...Chronos only uses 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear for the whole course. So I tried Andrewyhy's tune (post #17, above), and adjusted the gearing to match where I saw the speed Chronos was shifting in the video. It made the GT-LM much easier to control. It works out to using the default gear ratios, and setting the final drive to 3.500...2nd gear tops at 100 mph (161 kph), 3rd gear = 140 mph ( 225 kph ), and 4th gear = 183 mph ( 295 kph). Try it, you might like it.
It helps if you can develope a feel for using a slight bit of "lift off over-steer" to get the car to turn faster...never let the throttle off all the way, but ease the throttle a little in a turn, and the rear will start to come around a little, then quickly roll on more throttle before the rear goes too far. It's fun once you get the feel and timing for it.
( I'm still working at perfecting it, and haven't finished S10 higher than 4th, but I'm getting better ) 👍
(Best first lap so far = 2:11.xxx, and best lap = 2:01xxx, but still not consistent. I'm just trying to improve my driving skills)

YAHOO, finally did it. Using the Ford GT-LM test car with the above setup. In PRO mode, I got silver at S-10, then got silver at S-7 last night. I kept at it over and over, but getting the feel for lift-off oversteer really improved my lap times. Practice, practice...

I made bronze for Fuji Speedway in the Mine's GT-R. The car is mostly stock, but I dropped weight to 88% instead of cranking hp up. The problem is that the car has enough horsepower, but is too heavy. You notice the Mine's and Blitz GT-Rs understeering off track from time to time, but the weight redux helps your Mine's a lot.

The exit speed for the long straight makes the most difference. I rarely passed others in the meat of the curves after the first lap.

I don't have a TV-tuner handy, but I can think something up. It wasn't the best lap in the world, but I was under a lot of pressure. I'm just happy they didn't model damage, or I would have been through five gearboxes.

Here's a YouTube video to go with it.
