Patrick emptied his AK-47, shooting at least 29 times through his front door, walls and windows after hearing the knock, Police Chief Patty Patterson said.

He told police he had been robbed and shot in the past year.

"He wasn't going to be robbed again, and he wasn't going to be shot again," Patterson said Saturday at a news conference.

I heard about this story on the local news a few days ago, and I got to say that was really sad to hear. I think one of them died on the spot after that incident.... (not sure about that info) Seriously, I think this guy needs serious help if he is traumatized like that after getting robed and the possession of a rifle isn't a good idea either.......

I am still a proponent of the second amendment.
Though it seems every law/rule/bit of common sense was ignored for this person to get a gun.
I do wonder how this dude didn't get charged with illegal possesion of a firearm.
Secondly, this is another instance of a loose nut behind the butt (of the gun).

Also, if you don't want people knocking on your damn door on Halloween...leave the effingham lights off.
