The concept of this thread is actually pretty straightforward: Is capital punishment acceptable in modern society in case of crimes like this?
Which is a question of human rights.
And that's not at all intrinsically related to human rights, because I do believe in human rights (including the right to life) and I still fully support the death penalty.
The fact that you have a duality on the subject does not change the nature of the subject itself.
It honestly just seems at this point that you wanted to talk about human rights, but needed some excuse to bring it up in this thread so you don't have to debate with the people who frequent the proper thread.
No sir. I responded to a person claiming one opinion they have on human rights as a universal. That's it. The rest of this mess is the aftermath of people wanting to be able to post something about human rights, but not have to respond to it in that fashion, and then me cleaning up all of the specificities of how that fact has been denied since then.
If you continue to post untruthful responses such as this, I will continue to present the truth of what is actually occurring. I invited the discussion to the human rights thread once that was suggested. That was not my original intention. In fact, I had no agenda when entering this thread. As I said, I simply reacted to what was occurring here. I am aware that this discussion has now gone off topic, but you cannot expect me to accept untruthful statements from you or others with no defense of the truth. I propose we leave the triviality here at this point. I have no desire to derail discussion on this forum.
