S2000 with Hardtop - MINE! =D

Oh we can play this game.

Look at this car, it looks like it has a balloon on its back:

Now these are what I'm talking about:

Also those examples you posted aren't exactly what I would call stylish. In case you haven't noticed, cars and art mix well, and artistic people tend to modify cars appropriately.

I'll take door number 1. The black top compromises the body of the car - makes it look like it's pieced together instead of carved out of stone. I'm not sure whether I hate your 2nd photo or last photo more - but neither is good. If you need a black top, go with a black car.

Color matching hard tops rarely look good. There are few cars where the roof shape flows with the rest of the body lines, S2K ain't one.

Like I said earlier, there's a reason Honda made the windshield frame black, and that is because it would otherwise detract from the stellar body shape.

Danoff, Keef...I think you're both right. I agree with both you and all your pictures you posted, and now I'm shopping online for an S2K...jerks

Gonna say that a white hardtop doesn't look good, but on any other color either way looks good.

Which is why Honda decided to follow Danoff's point of reason about buying a black hard top for a black car when they introduced this, right?

Or, wait, maybe they did it back when they introduced the car?

Or this '07?

Or this '09?

It had nothing to do with the lines.

Honda realized that most of their clientele have no aesthetic sense whatsoever, so of course they offered the ugly options or they wouldn't have made half the money.

Subtle, "foot in mouth" post?
