S2U advice for controlling Viper SRT10 wanted.

I'm having some difficulty controlling the Dodge Viper SRT10 in S2U. It's just so prone to spinning out and torque steer, that I can't handle races which force you to use it as a loaner.

Maybe I'm just not "getting it". I really can't determine the secret of taming that beast.
Any tips?

Have you tried tuning the beast? If not try turning down your tire pressures for a start, reknowns tuning section turns undrivable cars into on rails race cars

Throttle control, thats all there is to it. Or you can just turn all possible assists on.

I've done that eliminator event without any assists, and i actually quite like the viper. I even did most of the modern b with it.

Anyway, if you play with the wheel, try it with ds3. I've tried the works viper with it, and was able to atleast keep it on the track, while with the wheel its a complete mess all over the place. The stock one should be more easy as well.

If you use anything else than 360° steering lock on your wheel, change it just for those events. Also try use the light traction control until you get the hang of it, then try without. And really tenderly feather the throttle, if you stomp on the pedal that car will eat you alive.

I went back to do some of the earlier events now that I'm a bit more experienced and did beat my previous time with the SRT10

Its all about Throttle Control and I can't emphasize this enough.

Forget the assists and the DS3. Its not fun

Tuning tuning and more tuning I have one that is very stable and quite driveable with a wheel. I will post the tune when i have time and i got it from an older thread here where the tuner had a universal set up based off the gt style cars for cars that were not. I simply started there and tweaked it till i was satisfied.
