A car that could have had so much potential, but unfortunately Saturn died out just like Pontiac did. This Red Line model produced 260 HP, and with a turbo upgrade kit, 290 HP.

Also known as the Opel Lightning, pretty much a follow on to the Opel Speedster/Vauixhall VX220.

Stunning machine!
I thought Opel called the production model the "GT". The same name given to the sports car they made in the 1960s.

It's known as well as the Pontiac Solstice GXP.
Also yup, GM sure rebadges a lot of cars.

ahh my bad, im thinking of the Vauxhall Lightning - but it never made it into production :( Your right, it was the Opel GT - either way, STUNNING!!

I'm surprised that the Vauxhall version didn't make it into production actually. Seriously, from what I've seen; there has always been a Vauxhall version of every Opel since the 90s.

Rebadging cars. Because GM.

But if all GM does is rebadge cars, then why can't we get a Chevy SS Wagon in the US? 💡

GM is like Ford to me, they have proven time & time again that they are capable of creating amazing machines, but there's just some choices they make that won't make any sense what so ever to us car enthusiasts.

In the case of Ford, take for example, the C-Max Hybrid. Questionable indeed.

It's odd, because Vauxhall get the some of the big V8 Holdens, yet Opel don't,

Mainland Europe have received extra variations of various models, that parts of Western Europe/ Vauxhall didn't, yet South America did - mainly the Opel Corsa Estate, and Ute (pickup) - the pickup I strangely have a craving for lol
