@brockie Nice to see you today - I did a good job of holding everybody up for you to get a big lead in that 2nd race
I got caught up in some kind of revenge punt thing - that Italian chap just pushed me and some others straight off the track then he got taken out by someone else.

Hello mate, literally the sight of you in my lobby gained me half a sec a lap 🤣 I think I actually got 20 wins since last Monday, I’ve really enjoyed the glen and the civic and I guess with the non DR lift I’d have been in AS.

didn’t have too many A+ drivers today, so could fight clean and generally won most, towards the end of the day it got abit dirty - I guess they all had enough of me 🤣

Back to reality next week 😁

But I do love those kinds of combos, I can remember Mini Cooper at shorten Alsace reverse, arbarth at maggoire short & this one ranks right up there!

Thanks for the help though - legend 👊

That's the first races I've tried there and I'm waaaay too slow - getting a bad exit off T1 and I was getting passed by 3 or 4 cars. Pity there wasn't another couple of laps there - I might try a couple more later..

It’s literally going into all corners in third and pulling away in fourth, even the uphill turn before the penalty line, I saw many racers smash my time in the getting fed up with me stage 🤣

I’ll get a few more in tomorrow morning before work and before my run and fingers crossed we have a good week next week 🙏

Did my last three race A this morning. I really enjoy this combo, managing the FF with it's infamous torque steer was not as painful as I expected. Hope PD keeps that one make race going for Race A, it's really fun.

Got three poles this morning but I still can't figure out where to brake for turn 1 at the start of the race, thus making the race more interesting. ;)

So Race 1 I brake early and 2nd bump me lightly. I don't get a penalty but i don't have the racing line going in the uphill esses and I have to lift off. Of course, half the field could pass me before the chicane. Nevertheless, I put my head down and push the rest of the race and got the win.

Race 2 I brake too late and I get a penalty, drop 2 places at penality line but head down and climb back to win.

Race 3 I can manage turn 1 better finally and I can keep first through the race finally.

I have to say, morning crowd is less competitive and the room are not always filled up. I'm well aware I wouldn't be as competitive in evening racing.

We often talk about a 4th category for longer races etc, but maybe a gets DR ranked again and the forth race is the feeder racer in to sport mode?

I've not turned the wheel that much some of it family time and most of it I can't really be that bothered this week, looking at the streams my pace isn't as far away as I thought but my motivation levels are near zero.

Had enough of the civic for this week, 3 more races today and 3 wins 🏆 my aim was to repair my battered SR rating and I have achieved that 😉. It did help that I was starting on pole for all of those races and once I survived turn 1 it was just a case of keeping the head down. I did get my QT down to a 1.56.2 which got me in the top 500 at least, I just don't see the point in trying anymore 🤣. Tried the F3500 earlier...it's interesting 🙈 it's fantastic in VR though. I'm going to concentrate on the cup now on Wednesday, I stupidly signed for Genesis and after 3 laps regretted that decision....I hate it 🤣🤣🙈 Might switch accounts and stick to a good all-rounder like the 911 I think 👍

I picked the McLaren which has the pace but very very full on to extract its strengths.

Also if there is weather it's probably the most compliant of the contender picks.

911 or GTR/lambo will probably be the strongest cars for all 4 races but the Genesis well driven is probably the fastest car out right (for my alt I'm going corvette just knowing it isn't great in weather but an alternative to the Genesis and Supra speed wise)

That’s where I think I’d enjoy vr

In open wheelers

I just knew after a few laps that it is not going to suit me, I cannot explain it better but I do know I just don't feel comfortable with it. I will go with the 911 for my Alt account and most likely the GTR on my US one...keeping my options open 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just so you know the US lobbies in the manu is probably quicker than the EMEA lobbies at A level the spread will be wider but the quick guys are quick just remember that.
