So far this is what I've figured out. There's no export to xmb button but there is something where you can save it and it goes to save files for games. Once you copy that and upload it onto your computer you end up with 5 files.

ICON0.PNG (Useless PNG File)
PARAM.PFD (32.0KB)
PARAM.SFO (2.67KB)
PIC1.PNG (Useless PNG File)
REPLAY.0 (446KB)

So the file "replay.0" should be the replay file and if one of you people who know this computer stuff can find a way to convert the file into a video file that means we can upload it onto sites if I'm correct.

So if anyone can make a converting program and figure this stuff out then it'll help a bunch of us. If you want the file I can send it to you. Just PM me.

Thanks to anyone who is willing to figure this out.

The "converting program" is Gran Turismo 5. You'd have to completely recreate it 1:1 on a PC for this to work.

In other words, there's no video on the file at all. Just a set of instructions that tell the game what to load, and how to drive the cars.

*facepalm*

It is not that simple, that isn't related to video file at all, in fact it is not possible unless you know what PD's data on the replay files means, then you would have to create some ridiculous reverse engineering to recreate the damn game itself just to output videos.

Does not account for flexible Camera angles either, your better off filming your TV with a Camcorder than a headache like this.

Even something that was 1 minute long and a Terrible quality would still probably be larger than that, especially if it is HD quality!

Wish your idea would work though...

No, it's not possible. For a start you'd get a court order from Polyphony Digital for stealing all the assets used in GT5 in order to create your "converter".
