Agreed, though I must mention the Festiva was canned in 1993 where the Kia Pride went on until something absurd like 1999 in Britain at which point they were outclassed by everything including a team of oxen and a wagon of some sort.

I fail to understand how it can't be suited to ANY roads (except maybe Arctic or Saharan... :D).

Well it's certainly not suited for the US - our gas is cheap, and our roads are long and straight. Bring on the Ford Excursion!

Gotta love the Excursion - a car that Ford said wouldn't be coming to the UK because "we do not think it would fit on your roads"... :D

Fiestas drive nicely in a straight line at 75mph quite happily. Had mine up to 122mph - and I'm still returning better fuel economy at that speed than an Explorer at 30mph in top... :D Mind you, my dad put 1.5 tonnes of gravel in the back of his Explorer - something the Fiesta MAY struggle with :D

I live in a hillbilly town near the New york/pennsylvania state border and occasionaly a ferrari of some sort will drift in from new york. It is funny to me to see this 1/4 million dollars automobile among some pickup trucks and dodge neons.

Ever heard of an MCC Smart Car? My car is precisely 11'7" long and looks like the Pierre Guillemot next to a Smart Car...

Fiestas rock. The only car I've EVER gone round a roundabout quicker in is my brother's Impreza RB5...!

Saw a Ferrari 550 in black yesterday; mind you, it was a racing weekend at Ascot
