@hsv Just tried my XR3i's from when I was a kid they must be 25 years old at least
both worked fine all be it until they reached the first corner
I have the C57 Aston, I think the second ever lights release:
The lights may not work, but it certainly goes pretty well. The CSL and 911 pairing I bought with rock solid tyres... not so much.
Top tip for anyone who finds them however - the big slicks off the late-90's generic formula cars fit straight on, they work absolutely brilliantly. The F1 tyres should be the same too. 👍
It was the DTM Alfa and the Calibra
Red Alfa on the left and the Opel was like the one depicted here, except it had a different sponsor. Might have been number 3 or number 10
The only 155 Scalextric did was the Super Touring body:
It did come in the silver alternate livery too (below), the same as with the Micro sets (I have both 155 bodies), except the Micro sets had DTM sponsors instead of the BTCC ones:
The only DTM body mold came from Ninco:
Now, the Calibra - Ninco did one too, except I like the mold a bit less than the Scalextric one:
In terms of the Scaley ones, the Joest car came in a few different guises, which I'll run through:
There was the Opel number 9:
A number 10 Vauxhall, all with varying levels of roof sponsors (mine is as plain as the #9 above, this version below has black wheel arch/splitter detailing):
The final one has no extra tampo sponsors like the 2nd one, but is the only proof I can find of the X-Cars existing, with a what looks to be tampo'd EDS roof sponsor and then a nice sheet of stickers.
Of course, I'm not that clued up on Canadian set releases, but I could happily do some deep digging to try and find the set number and see what specific cars were included, and if there were any special variations on either car.
