i dont know but im sure it will. i hope theyre is some bonus races they are good cash earners
by the way welcome to gtplanet

Bonus Race #2 expires tomorrow night at 9pm CST. I susupect we'll see something then. I'll be curious to see what we get this time and what restrictions, if any, are included.

Have to say that it is no fun without the restrictions on NO. 3. but oh well easy money and EXP i guess.

You have the choice to not modify your car if you want more of a challenge. And it's alot more fun than grinding indy for an hour to get a million cr.

totally agreed. I am not a good driver, I will try to see what are the typical opponents b4 going into the race, have the car ready with similar standard. If I can beat them, great. If not, try to do minor adjustment/upgrade, and try more.

I agree that bonus race #4 will probably come tomorrow, but I have to think that at some point they aren't going to be able to keep up this pace and the bonus races will slow down. I suppose it is possible that they could just keep them coming indefinitely, but if the current trend continues they are going to run out of premium cars to buy.

Also, we're all going to be able to start a new character and get to level 40 by March if they keep up this pace!

I'm loving the easy money and experience with the unrestricted version. I think for one of them they should have a 20million total prize money purse. Just for fun. I also think they should offer a prize car for getting all golds.

To a degree this is probably true. But since the tracks and cars that is currently available, all they have to do is program for that race. I think worst case scenario they my extend the length of time each event is available and continue with these events.

Anything worth acheiving should be a personal struggle... it should push you to better yourself, study harder, train more, get fitter, etc. :)

If you work hard to obtain something you relish the experience & are proud of what you've done that others can't or haven't.

If you're given something, you very often discard it shortly afterwards, as you've not expended any effort to obtain it. :indiff:

I'd prefer it if they'd left the restrictions in, that way it would seperate the dedicated / talented from the casual gamers just after a quick buck. 💡

Those who want things easy should wait for the inevitable unlimited cash, all gold trophies, all bonus car "cheat codes" that will probably appear sometime soon. :grumpy:

I disagree. I don't think it's much work at all. The tracks and the cars are all in the game already. I'm sure one knowledgable programmer working for a week could come up with the 5 Seasonal Events needed. With the income they have made from GT5 I'm sure they can afford to pay that one guy to keep churning out 5 new Seasonal Events each week

Implying that golding the seasonals #1 and #2 when there were no restrictions was something special? I hope you're fully aware that while you did it, so did I and probably millions of other people.
If you can't control yourself so you don't put every available mod on your car its no problem. All of the new events are doable with minimal modding with a bit of a challenge.

I doubt their is one coming, I think seasonal is some bad translation for the holiday season (xmas and new year). I hope i'm wrong though.

By the way, the deadline for Event 3 is on the 19th. A week after Event 2. So we should get two events within two weeks.

Can y'all imagine the griping and whining and gnashing of teeth if there's NOT a new Seasonal Event immediately following the closing of SE 2?

They'll be griping about not having anything new to gripe about!

:lol::lol::lol:

I was expecting updates only once a month at first, so I consider them all to be a pleasant surprise.

agreed. i don't understand why people complain about being no restrictions. it's not like pd is making you out tune the other cars

It seems there will be a pattern of overlapping the events so that we get a new event every week. I hope they continue to introduce new ones each week and give us 2 weeks to complete them.

I may not have needed to do it, but I ended up maxing out all my competition models anyway, just so I could be sure of winning the gold the first time{I actually succeeded about 8 times out of 10}.

I expect it to be out within a couple hours, if not i will be sad for 5 seconds then move on :P

As for restrictions I would like them to be about the difficulty of the first set, as they were the perfect difficulty for my skills. Even if they aren't what I most look forward to is what cars they will make me drive!

On a side note, was I the only one who actually found the Prius fun to drive? That thing moves so slowly that it was actually a little difficult for me to keep it on a proper racing line as the slightest turn of the wheel had it turning rather sharply! Was a lot of fun!

after tuning the suspension on the Prius it actually was fun to drive which is funny because its the last thing you'd expect

I'm not too sure I agree with what I am assuming was a CVT transmission, nothing more boring then flat acceleration. But having to drive something to its absolute limit is always fun.

Definitely not a fast or exciting car haha. It was just a little strange to be able to actually turn too much through a corner at full throttle rather than not being able to make it in the first place without some kind of throttle control or braking. Maybe iv'e been spending too much time in the racing class cars :sly:
