If you can blow the volvo race away with no mods other than wheels it shows just how bad I am. I came in second after changing wheels and lightening the car up to match the leader and was behind by 25 seconds while being ahead of 2nd by almost 10 seconds.

Challenger race I modded too and still lost but I only matched weight and HP of fastest car. I think if ran a perfect race I might have a shot.

No, I didnt say I blew the volvo race away with no mods, I said if you used mods you most likely would. I actually ended up winning I think by about 2-3 seconds, so it was a close race.

Jeeze tried the Volvo one and was 10 seconds behind the leader and 22 seconds ahead of third! No mods.

Got first on the HSR one. Second on the challenger (stock)

Well, just finished completing all 5 events. Decided to do some minor upgrades on each one, but all ended up being very easy. Yay for credits and exp tho!

Can someone verify that you can't use an RM Golf for the Ring event???

I can. When I click the event and select garage the car pops up, but when you actually go to start the event (to load the track) you get the error sound and it shows the available cars. Bummer.

These were a big help. Got me within 4 million of the 20million cap. Awesome. I gots some LMPs and a couple other cars to buy when I get there. (including the FGT)

Damn, I bought a GTi and race modded it and now i cant use it for the nurburgring race. theres $200k wasted...

I tried to use my GTi RM too. No dice. But I did have a stock 74 sitting in my garage... Sooooo.... A brief trip to the tuning garage and I was off to conquer the ring. It's no race car to be sure but I won easy enough.

Keep making the game easier until I can beat it without having to get better... got it!

Or just making it accessible to more people?

I like the lack of restrictions. Do the race stock first. If you win great. Move on. If you don't win, work out how much faster per lap you need to be and then tune the car as little as possible, just enough to make the lap time you need. You never know, it might teach a few of us to tune properly.
