That is really appreciated my friend...

meanwhile, i'm still searching for more drivers, talking with some leagues and stuff, but, if we cannot get enough people, we will be starting this seasonal with 5 - 6 drivers, prizes will be the same, i think running this series even with 6 drivers is important to gain credibility and get more drivers for the next seasonal event.

And the table of prizes it will be like:

  1. 50$ Either Amazon Gift card, or PSN Coupon.
  2. 20$ either Amazon gift card or PSN coupon
  3. 10$ Amazon gift card
  4. 3 selected paints
  5. 2 selected paints
  6. 1 selected paints
You are not allowed to give out prizes that have a monetary value. The paints are OK, but the gift cards and coupons are not.

About the practice, i was Thinking in Sunday 18:00 eastern.. what do you think guys?

When I have time Sunday afternoons I race in a F10 league, but most of the time I'm busy. Really hoping this can be done either early Sat. or Sunday mornings, or Mon/Wed/Thursday evening. Any other time slot and I'd have to jump through flaming hoops to make it. :scared:

Friday and Saturday evenings are spent with the wife and kids. It's give and take. If I don't give them quality time they will take my g27 away. Late Saturday (11pm eastern) can work, but it involves the aforementioned flaming hoops. Saturday mornings would be great.

LOL you're right, well... having that in mind, the only thing i can come up with is Sunday mornings, or Mon/Wed/Thursday evening...

now, let's wait for the other drivers, to see wich of these days can they practice. Sunday mornings, or Mon/Wed/Thursday evening

Sunday mornings is good too.

I have invited jwill, mustard, ps3, Russian, rsk, Leyba and about 20 other x1 guys.

@rain, I have the grinder ap going finally. Let's get you to b40 this weekend!

Any guys not at 40 just let me know. That way people are able to purchase a colour x1.

Great Oshawa-Joe, that's an awesome notice...

By the way, due to the recent warning i got for the Admins about not giving any prize that involve real money, i'm like, don't know what to offer to the 3 first places, because, i have like 6 tickets only, and those are 6 stupid tickets

Beige is perfect, wich number do you want to use? :)

77, if it hasn't been taken! ;)

I was also wondering, have you considered letting everyone pick their own numbers for the first season, then any subsequent seasons having existing drivers use the number of their finish in the previous championship and newcomers taking the next number in sequence based on when they signed up (like real racing series)?

I didn't but that is an extremely good idea, i'll be doing it like that... thanks for the idea...

i'm struggling with the schedule, due to the availability of the drivers. but i will be in the afternoon, because the host, and the other drivers likes it most.

I'm thinking on posting it tomorrow and see how it goes, then change it if necessary.

So, thanks for joining...

Wassup guys, i wasn't been able to connect myself because my internet was off, but well, let's set the frist race to september 10, at 18:00 eastern...

it's that ok?

I'll give it a try. How long will the races be? Are you aiming for half hour 27-30 lap range or longer?

EDIT: It'a a holiday Monday and the perfect time to do a test race. I rarely use these cars and will need some practice!

Practice Race
Today Sept 3rd
2:30pm eastern
30 laps Daytona Roadcourse

Great practice today. Feels very strange running these things again but it's fun. My reflexes need some work lol, but still managed a 58.7 with 3/4 fuel. I think I will actually spend some time tuning this thing using some of the tips I've picked up this year. I will post a set up later today or tomorrow.

Jazz is very fast in an x1. Mistersafeway is obviously pro.

The practice was awesome, i was out of town so that's why it took me so long to post something...

we are waiting for the tunes to be posted, and remember next week is our first race.!!!!

Tunes! Tonight when I get home I will put up the links to the best x1 set ups for tracks like Suzuka, Indy Road and tracks like that.

Here is one of the best tunes for the X2010 shared by X1-Pro AKA JWILL. This set up is great for tracks such as Suzuka (good for sub 60 sec), Tokyo (good for sub 50 second), Daytona RC (good for sub 60 sec), etc. You get the picture. This is not a route X tune. Feel confident in driving the car with this set up as the only thing you need to adjust from track to track might be the final gear and rear down force. Typically I like using full DF front and back but will drop the rear to 196 for faster tracks like Spa and Indy/Daytona RC. I'll drop it down to 185 for Tokyo as it helps me make the first and last turns quicker.
