Secret Island on Test Drive Unlimited?

I know there is a secret island on Test Drive Unlimited on Xbox 360, and the PC, but I dont know if you can get it on PS2. Does anyone know how to access the secret island on the PS2 version, or what will be even more helpful, does such a thing exsit?

I don't know about the PS2 version, but on the 360 version, you can see the island from the shore. Also, it's visible on the map, and you can clearly see the road surface on it, something none of the other isolated islands has.

On the 360, there's a marker at the top of one of the mountains near the shore. Not easy to get to. It's the logo of Eden Studios, who made the 360/PC versions. Drive through it at a certain speed (50-60mph, I think, or faster) and it will teleport you to the island. There's another icon/marker on the island to teleport back. But, since Eden didn't make the PS2 version, there's a strong chance this isn't there, or it's been altered or moved.

There really isn't much there, though. I've only been there once and never bothered going back. I don't know if it counts toward total percentage of discovered roads or not.

You must be able to access it on the PS2, because when you look at it on the map, it has roads on it. So you must be able to get to it some how!

You can, trust me. It's just nobody knows how! The map clearly shows that the island has roads on it. And just so you dont get confused, it is not that small island that is nearest to Oahu, it's the one behind it!

Why the hell would the game developers put the roads there if you cant use it in the first place? Use your common sense dude!

A completley different company made the PC and Xbox 360 versions. What is your point. And if they did base them of the PS2 version, then that must mean there is a secret island on the PS2 version. Let me explain. If they based the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the PS2, that must mean that the secret island was an idea taking from the PS2 versions and embedded in the PC and Xbox 360 versions!

Actually, now I have looked at the map of the small island on the Xbox 360, turbo lag is almost certainly right. The secret island on the PS2 has completley different roads to the Xbox 360 and PC versions. In fact they might not be roads at all!

Wow guys, I guess none of you beat the game?! when you do, you unlock the special submarine car, and you get to sink(?) all the way over to the island, problem is, When you get over there, your game restarts, the tv shuts off, and your disc ejects so fast it slices your heart open...

And THATS why no one has ever told anyone else how to get there...

(dont worry, i watched a friend play the last race for me... te hehe)

i have the ps2 version and there is no way of getting to that island. the ps2 version way different to the xbox360 and pc versions.

Think of the PS2 version as about 3/4 of the PC and 360.

hopefully in Test Drive Unlimited 2 you will be able to go shopping for groceries at the local mall, go to school, get a girlfriend, have sex, have kids, buy a pet tiger, buy weapons etc and fly planes especially fly to the secret island and get laid by 6 girls if not 8 or 9 or 10

Today I made huge discoveries on both the PS2 and PSP versions of TDU (developed by the then-called Melbourne House studio). The secret island did exist, you can drive on it, and it's freaking amazing. I bet I'm the first person to ever set foot on these virtual islands. Crazy thoughts! I spent hours as a kid trying to find the eden "E" to teleport to the island. Man! Hours wasted.

Using a mixture of Cheat Engine, PCSX2 and PPSSPP I was able to teleport to the secret islands for both platforms. This is definitely possible using CWcheat on PSP. (PS2, not sure.)

Here's a link to my album for proof. Let me know if you guys want a tutorial on how to do this with a PSP and cwcheat. Easy process.
