I can see why you chose #1 for your comp entry. It's really good--smooth, fast, makes me hear an evil shriek akin to a horror movie ghost mixed with a little bit of F1 car. Your #2 picture doesn't really make me want to say "cool!" or anything. There's no emotion in it. And a bunch of splotchies at the rear of the car, too. Definitely the runt of this set. My numerous car mags sometimes will do a shot where the car is partially blocked by an object or is cresting a hill, like in #3. But they always look better in the magazines, not necessarily quality wise, but just in general appeal. I don't think I've seen a cool GT4 pic like that from anybody. The contrast is nice in #4, along with the noise. I like how the side edges are still black and visible. Some people would have drowned them out and that'd look dumb. The blur didn't work too well on #5, eh? I probably would have smudged it vertically until it all went away, but I don't know how well it would turn out. I'm sure you know how to get to the smudge tool, right? Hold down the blur button and it has a dropdown menu of blur, sharpen, and smudge. All of the main tools have three differnt functions. But if you already knew that, then other people can read this and learn. The #6 photo looks very fast. The shape reminds me of two things: either an alien craft or a snowplow. It looks ready to tackle the Bonneville Salt Flats out in Utah. Ever heard of the place? Speed records galore have been set there. I don't think it was long enough for those two jet powered cars a few years back; that's a testament to how fast they were. I mean, the flats are, like, 8 miles long! Anyways, #7 looks like the car has a fighter jet canopy. It looks dark ,scary, mysterious, and super powerful, like an SR-71 Blackbird. The fastest jet in the world, might I add. What was it, about 2,100 mph? Back in the 70s!! And it's still the King. I love the silhouette in the last pic. And that spoiler is enormous. I bet that long car was difficult to drive on that tight track.
