Thanks for the positive feedback or comments everyone. 👍 I'm glad you think the 1st shot is pretty realistic too, kenny. :) I picked that shot for the comp because of that. Now add a little noise and the nostalgic feel is complete! Too bad the rules of the PMC don't allow that! :P

That's really nice picture, and I'm guessing it's the one you entered in the braking comp, I haven't checked it yet today. I love the purple sky and the purple highlights all over the car. They aren't really reflections, just bright spots. I like how they flow over the tops of the fenders in the long curve. I like the big tree in the middle of the sky, though real artists would probably say otherwise. I used to take an out-of-school art clas a while back and my teacher said to not put an object that stands out in the middle of the picture if it isn't the pictures main object. I like it because it looks good but i don't like it because it shouldn't be smack in the middle. But there's no better place to put it. This is a really fancy photo; it makes me want to mess with the colors in mine more.
 
Oh man this is great! You really made that shot look hot by adding that tint to it. It sure looks like the early mornings during the lemans race. I'm sure it'll get quite a few votes! 👍 👍

@ keef: Yes, it is for this weeks 2.0 comp. I know what you're talking about, I lik ehte tree too, it adds something to the pic that makes it more complete I think. I didn't want to crop it away.

Hmmmm, it actually loks a little Too dark to be early morning, it kind of has a nonrealistic effect to it, but the shot is quality
 
Thanks for the comments you left at my gallery sejtur, they are much appreciated. I like this pic a lot. The purple tint is great, as is the detail in the glowing rotors. I like how the calipers are invisible but visible (if you get what i mean). Also, I like how you have captured the spirit of the 905, with the light reflecting on the cars body. There is also a great sense of speed, though I feel that the car is slowing down rather than accelerating.

FireEmblem stated that the pic was too dark to be early morning, I disagree with that. Infact, I feel that this image is post night/pre dawn.

Sometimes very early in the morning, literally as the sun is breaking over the horizon, colours like the ones you have show are visible in the sky. They might only last for a few minutes, but for that brief moment in time, they are captivating. I used to live by the sea, so I've seen all colours and hues in the morning sky, your impression fits perfectly with those colours. Great shot mate. keep up the good work! :dopey:

ps. Damn man. You beat me to the 'early morning' title. I was about to post a mini-update titled 'Early Morning Call' (after an Oasis song). Its set a little later in the early morning than your impression, I guess I might have to think of another title. 💡
 
I've got the record for first 'Early morning pic' :lol: but I just dont thinkt he picture looks right, its something about it.
