I can see that you restrained yourself pretty well with the crazy blurs and such, but the shots still look like a guy named Sej took them. Not a bad thing, that. I think you were pretty mesmerized by all the complex city stuff surroundig the track.
Il ike the first one. I can't really feel what's going on with the car, but the beautiful colors, signs, people, bricks, poles, and lines going every which way make up for it. I don't knw why I like that clutter, but it looks good.
The rain looks alright. I've seen better, but your reflection you added pulls off the effect. I can "feel" the car, something that was missing in the last shot, probably because I've made a few jumps like that in a car. It's not really all that exciting. Never done it in the rain, and I don't plan on it. Anyway, the headlights and the darkness make it seem like a big storm. Good job with this one.
Number 3 is even more comlicated and busy than #1. The color in the sky is weird--like a blue/purple mix, maybe with a little gray in it. That's a nice looking glow on the side of the Spirra, too. I can imagine speeding out of a corner, just hanging on right at the edge of the car's grip. The rear tires are planted firmly, the inside front is rainsing off the ground and there's only the tiniest bit of body roll, the front end is light--you can feel it in the wheel which is like a ragdoll in your hands--and the car's just beginning to understeer--you can hear the front ties chirping over the little bumps and a really faint squeal. I'm telling you, I might as well be in the damn car.
I love the blue sky in the last picture. It's really smooth and soft, then you have the building underneath with sharp angles and trusses and braces pointing every which way. That's a neat contrast. I like the action of the car. And one of the reasons I started liking these unedited pictures was because I got tired of looking at the smooth blurs that people always put on movig bjects. Look at the top of the building--it's got that jittery look that the default blur has. That effect is a lot more intricate and interesting to look at than the soft blurs. It's not as "comfortable", I guess, cause it's all jaggy, nor is it realistic, but it looks cool.
Great job with the pics. These are slightly softer than what I've started liking, but they still have some characteristics I like. Great work, and it's about time you posted an update!
