Very classy Sejtur, anyway the thing I like in the shot is the use of the lighting and the colours.

Great pic Sej.
Outstanding!
I think the colours do actually work quite well.
And yes, 'very' Retro Italian. 👍

Very nice Franz, anyway I like so many things in this shot, but overall the shot is truly stunning.

Yeah, very nice 'Franz'.

I already commented on this shot during the voting, It looks unbelievably good in the preview in every way, but when enlarged the car shows some problems here and there, but quite visible.

But blurring, coloring and everything else is, as all of your work, brilliant. 👍

All of these latest shots are amazing, I am surprised looking back in your gallery that I have not commented.
You have a great range of shots, very artistic in their ideas and colours.
I loved the R8 like mostly everyone else, sweet colour and the blur is really well done.
I also really liked your Supra Tourney entry, great colour and lighting. Very cool picture.

I would like to make a more detailed comment but I feel I would be writing forever. :D
I will say the I was really impressed with the artistic look of the Daimler and 300SL shots.

Very impressive shots you have been coming up with, keep it up. Look forward to seeing your future competition entries. 👍

I love this shot Sej, it was one if not my favourite shot of the Tournament.
So creative like a lot of your shots are and the colours look stunning.
What blur did you use, is it just a hig level of Gaussian?

Superb work once again, look forward to seeing what you come up with next. 👍

Nice job! That was one of my favorite shots of the tourney. I LOVE how the background looks. Very clean and nice composition, looks like a lot a work was put into it. 👍 👍

I think you have resembled the technique you have used from 300SL photo
this one is more vivid than ever ...
I like the background looks like airstream that the Speed 8 breaking thru
awesome entry 👍

Awesome entry dude! I really want to know how you did the background; combined with the colour palette, it looks simply amazing.

My only really, really picky critiques would be the overexposed/sharpened edges of the Speed 8 and its decals (rear section), and the maroon section of tarmac in the bottom left. I would've perhaps shifted it to absolute black, possibly blending it slightly better with the hill in the background.

Anyway, that's just me messing with your masterpiece. :ouch:

/\ Ditto! /\

How did you get that background to look like that?

One very amazing shot! :dopey:

Awesome work Sej!

Thx Krame! :sly: And Keef and all others for commenting. I hope this one pic can make up for the two Pagani's.

Just taking a random tour in your gallery... I'm in love now.

sejtur, that Bentley shot is superb. I have no idea how you did the background but it looks fantastic and gives the feeling of the car going warpspeed!

I might give it a go myself later. :)

Great work on the Bentley Speed 8, anyway the things I like most in that shot is the colours and the lighting.

__________

Thx very much guys! Franz was right. The background was archieved in thesame way as with the SL300. That means, blur the hell out of it first, and then put some nice median filter over it. :) I haven't put that much work in this pic, but I was busy for like 2 hours because I didn't know which tones to choose. And BTW lately my pics are always a little oversharp while I don't even sharpen them. I guess it's just because of the contrast or something. And Alex I really appreciate you going through my gallery. I've done alot in the past few years. Maybe I should make an index in the first post, but it's going to take so long... :scared:

I prefer the first shot more, because of the angle and the lighting. However I still like the second shot.

OGHHHH! The Spoon is great but the SLR is brutal! As you said, it's specially oversharpened, and that's a big problem because the whole lines are distorted, but the overall work in lights and harmonic colors are a w e s o m e. All reflections over the car are very interesting and credible, shame the wild pixels I've told you :(.

Hope to learn one day how to modify a photo as you are doing lately.

Two more amazing competition entries from you sej.

I love the feeling you give your pictures through the lighting and colour.
That S2000 must be one of the best shots I have seen from Tsukuba and the SLR is awesome. A little too sharp like others have said, but overall with the blur, lighting and colour. A stunning shot. 👍

SLR is amazing as I already said in the comp thread. The style, colour and composition go extremely well together. I just love it and hardly can explain in words. For the oversharpen issue, it happens to me all the times when I go adjust contrast and colour extremely. Those jaggies would be an extra work to clean up if you care.
S2000 is a good shot to start with I believe, but it also suffers some jaggies like the SLR. However the tone is great with nice white sky, but the composition is not my cup of tea for some reason and it seems like a rush job for me :indiff:
