The grass is always greener...

Who won the other 4 awards?

I'm personally disappointed by the Blue Corvette winning. We already have such car, even if it has a unique widebody to it.
It won Peoples Choice not Best in show, which is the car that will make it to a Future GTseries title.

From the GT6 car list:
"34 - Chevrolet Nova SS '70"
This is also why I wanted a different car in GT6, so we can have something like the Pantera or the new Lexus IS... sigh.

*different... we already have Lexus manufacture.. no Detomaso or how ever its spelled

And for diversity's sake: Here's another pro-touring american muscle car. Like the Buick Special. Or the Trans Cammer. Or the Art Morrison 'Vette. Or the GT40/Mustang hybrid. Or the two Camaros...

Sheesh Kaz, there are other kinds of cars in SEMA besides resto-modded muscle cars!

True but there is still 1000000000 GTRs and Miatas to make you happy :P

(Just kidding I agree they should spice it up with the SEMA cars and include some late models both Domestic and Import.)

But, none of them are powered by a 700HP 2JZ-GTE screaming through a custom, full-length, 4-inch exhaust

Nova winning rather than the blue 'Vette is welcome, but we already have retro-mod cars, Pozzi's Camaro in GT6 for instance, lets get a Premium with a properly-recorded 2JZ exhaust note for the non-GTR import fans. :D

The Nova is certainly a great choice 👍 I'm surprised at how much PD is including American cars now, which shows that they are doing their best to not neglect manufacturers from around the world. That's indeed great.

But don't forget about our buddies from Europe next time. I would love to see a modified BMW, VW, or something in the likes of that.

Judging by how it has gone in the past, will we not see this car until number 7?

There is such a thing? :P Just kidding The lack of a premium 2JZ is a massive oversight and hopefully will be fixed.

If we had to have a muscle car, I think this should have been it:

GREAT GOOGA MOOGA! SWEET TALLADEGA.

As mentioned by others, arent we due for a European custom? Like an ABT RS4? RS5? S8? What about that awd A1 concept Audi showed the magazines?

Oh yeah, folks, just remember we have a few more car shows, vintage shows, events, etc. Coming up in the next two years before 7 comes out. We'll see some tasty stuff. ;)

Uh... I mean, I'm glad GReddy got the nod... but didn't they go out of business a while back? o_O

Not sure how the GReddy name is back out there again. Can't find anything on the official website blog; anyone know the story?

By 2008 TRUST was approximately $60 million in debt and, after reporting a serious decline in sales since February 2008 and amassing $43 million in loan payments, they filed for Minji-saisei-hou in Tokyo District Court on September 10, 2008, the Japanese equivalent of a Chapter 11 reorganization plan in the U.S. The U.S. division was unaffected by the bankruptcy.

Aha! Good to know. Grazie. :)

Well I know that, duh, but we don't have a) any new Lexus' (the base models are just, I'm assuming, plain versions of the existing race cars) or b) the new Lexus IS in the game already. My point is we already have a Nova in GT6 so it's annoying, in my opinion, to needlessly put another in.
As a side note, please don't bring up talk about duplicates. It doesn't really wash or apply here, since they shouldn't be in the game to begin with.

What's the worst that'll happen? We're gonna die from it? If it wins the people's choice, it only wins that. Its not guaranteed it'll actually be in the game.

If it is, then avoid it at all costs (like some people do with the K cars).

Yes, I'm worried of another stupid car being put into GT. Honestly, there's already enough cars of that category of stupidity and it would be a waste imo to model something as stupid as the messed up vette over something better like the Pantera.

EDIT: That Chevrolet Nova won? Awesome!

Yes we have a Nova, but I'm pretty sure we can get a bit more power out of this one. Congrats to the winners, and it'll be cool to see this car in the future (GT7 I would assume).

Guys, just so you know, Jordan's gonna post a super embarrassing video of me failing at driving the Deltawing's, it was my frist time driving the car and the course, please be gentle.

uhhmmm i thought they pull the Deltawing from the game? probably still in the demo setup...

The demo was likely made before Nissan told PD to remove it, which as a result means its the last ever build that it is playable.
