I've been getting 3:17 in my evolution. Not bad I guess considering the other times posted on this thread :) .

Oh no no no no, another fast driver, can't we get us a karthakien? look forward to racing you 👍

just want to clarify..

when we tune the cars and the bhp goes over the 300bhp limit were not allowed to use the restrictor to set it back at 300.. is that right?

Hi Andy, do you have room for one more or is it too late to sign up?
I would gladly have a Scirocco for even more variety on the grid.

Both Chrisr1984 and Cobrious are more than welcome to join. I've raced with you both before, so I trust that you both know the rules.

The power limiter is not allowed. participants must take into account the added BHP the engine gains from breaking in.

Great, thanks! See you later then. 👍

That's ok. Please don't join the room after race start. PD servers aren't the most stable things ever, and things like people joining the room, could cause connection issues and the like.

The room for the championship is up!

Room number is 1472-6399-9009-5382-8258. Qualifying starts in 1 hour. Don't be late.

What decides wich tyres you start on? I thought I was on intermidiates but found out in the first corner I was on SM, crashed in the beginning and had to make a really slow 1st lap back to the pits, race over kind of. Next lap I was on full wets and they were useless too, so I pitted again to get the right tyres. As you can see I've nearly no experience at all driving in wet conditions and after this I'll probably never do it again. It's pretty hard to get the power down with a FF car and at least I learned that it's even more so in the rain.

The next two races my car was good though. I actually thought I would be competitive but sadly I wasn't. As with all FF cars the front tyres could barely last 10 laps.

I never drive on the Nordschleife so my pace there was kind of expected. I wonder how everybody can be so quick there, amazing! It was really cool though with the sunset.

Championship finally done. Scores are as follows.

MattieM/MattieM – 3rd - 2nd - 1st - 1st = 85 points. plus 1 point for winning the duel with M8h3r. MattieM is the winner of the event with a total score of 86 points.

m8h3r/m8h3r – 1st - 1st - 2nd - 3rd. 85 points.

cobrius/cobrius - 7th - 3rd - 3rd - 6th - 48 points.

Tuner307/Tuner307 – 4th - 4th - 5th - 4th - 40 points.

Dragonwar233/ADR_BRONCO – 2nd - DQ - DQ - 2nd - 40 points

Jawehawk/Andy-Macnab – 6th - 6th - 4th - 5th - 40 points.

John Wells/johnwells69 – 5th - 5th - 6th - 7th - 38 points.

After the 4 races, it was a draw between MattieM and M8h3r. This was settled by a 6 lap race at Rome, with the Audi R8 4.2L on Sport Hard tires. Very exciting race to watch, with MattieM taking the win at the exit of the very last turn.

I quite enjoyed this, with the exception of the Rome 6 Lap race which was great to drive in I'd say the Spa one was my favourite. I was put on Sports Mediums in 70%+ weather, started 6th even though I qualified 1st  and by the time I had made it to the pits and got me a set of Racing Rains I was 47 seconds down.

Lap after lap pulling it back was hard work but at the end of lap 16 I got behind ADR_Bronco. 3 lap battle with him and coming out on top to take the chequered flag was a massive sense of accomplishment 👍

Finally my first victory in one of your events :). The races itself were not that great at the perspective of battles, except for the sudden death final. But as it comes to driving consistently, these were by best races so far.

First race at Spa.
Here i learned something new. During qualifying it started to rain. I ruined my only dry lap and found myself 2 or 3 seconds behind m8h3r. I decided to change tyres to racing intermediate by means of pitting (in stead of leaving free run and select them in the menu - doing this will reset your laptimes i believe, thats why m8h3r probably did'nt start first?). It turns out when the race starts, your tyres will be set back to the selection you made in the menu.

So i started with sports mediums, i missed pretty much every single breaking point and got rear ended by john in the run off area after the straight after eau. I had to pit anyway so the damage didn't cause to much problems. By the time i left my first pit stop i was 5th and managed to reduce this to the third place with a little over 30 secs behind m8h3r. One pit stop takes about 30 secs, so it might would have been a great battle if i started on the right tyres. Great driving from m8h3r and ADR_Bronco here. 2 pitstops made in this race.

2nd race at Fuji
Qualified 2nd behind m8h3r, finished 2nd behind m8h3r. We were both driving very consistently and fast, but i couldn't keep up with the evora. Eventually i had little over 10 secs lost in those 20 laps. No pitstops made in this race.

3rd race on Nurburgring GP/F
Qualified 3rd behind m8h3r (1st) and cobrius (2nd). Due to the high power and lack of grip at accelerating (typical FF car behaviour) cobrius lost one place to me at the start of the race. Though is was surprised to see a FF car keeping up in a field of RWD and MR cars. I managed to overtake m8h3r in 2nd or 3rd lap, cobrius did take advantage of that and overtook m8h3r as well. As those two were battling, i was gaining distance and never let go of the number 1 position. I really was streching my tyres so i didn't made a pit stop in this race. At the end i had about 10% front and 15% rear tyres left over.

4th race at Nurburgring
I started in the middle of the grid, even though i had run the fastest time in quali . The qualifying system always surprises me. Tuner307 was in front of me but had a bad start and immediately overtook him. The next sequence of turns i was driving with caution to avoid crashing. I got overtaken by m8h3r and ADR. The right hand turn after the wobbling straight :) had taken a few victims so i found myself 3rd behind m8h3r and ADR. I bit later on both of them slide off track giving me the 1st place. Next few laps i drove consistent without any major mistakes. Pitted after lap 3 and maintained the 1st position al the way to the checkered flag.

Final round (sudden death)
I turned out we had a tie in the championship standings, so a sudden death race was held to decide the winner. M8h3r and me in an Audi R8 on sports hard at Rome circuit. m8h3r started in first position and all the way up to the last corner i was close on his tail with a few unsuccesfull overtakes. But in the very last corner he wend to wide and crashed into the barrier. i overtook him at the straight and claimed the victory. Excellent race, it really was a great ending of this championship.

I must say my hands were pretty soar after all these races, maybe for future events it might be better to spread the races over more than one day. I like the championship set up because losing one race doesn't mean you lost the event.

Thanks to eveyone who participated and Jawehawk for hosting this event.

That was such utter BS. I've done that high speed turn a lot of times, occasionally driving 10 km/h more than I did in the race, yet the game decided that i could't pull it off. The reason for this is that when you have a group of people driving close to each other, the physics don't always keep up. I was so friggin pissed after that, as there's no way I shouldn't have made that turn. For the record I was doing it at 200 km/h at a perfectly fine angle.

I watched the replay and heard a horn of frustration coming from you, quite funny actually..:). But 200 km/h definitely should be possible, i think i have the same speed around that corner.

I was shocking on the Full Nurburgring. I was to tired to string together a single decent sector, never mind 1 lap and defiantly not 6.

The horn was just to warn people though :).
No way to stop the car before the upcomming turn.

I think I was slipstreaming you on the grass at this time too, didn't help me stop

I feel bad for missing this. And it's all because of the change from GMT to BST :banghead: . Sorry Jawehawk, I'm still adjusting...

ohhhh the Delorean from Back to the Future? Ahhh I get it now :D

That's cheat anyone who drives the Delorean can just teleport around the track and the race will be over in 2 seconds :P .
