I think you need to get gold in the Karts to get the free Senna Kart. It is silver for the other two cars to get those.
Correct - and for the vision GT car - you just have to get bronze in the new seasonal event. It's only available for purchase through the vision GT tab - and I'd shoot for bronze if I were you. In my opinion, it's the least fun Vison GT car to be released so far, but still a cool concept.

Monza layout is nearly completely different and Brands is massively changed as far as configuration. If you're upset about the buildings, stop looking at them and drive faster! The game is focusing on the driving physics - not the scenery. As for the sounds, the best in the game are with these two new cars. End of story.
Lets just put anything alongside tracks then since it doesn't matter. No, it's about immersion, I can't feel like i'm in the 80's when the track surroundings are modern. It's just lazy. Brands is not massively changed, two corners from what I saw. As I said they didn't even put the old gravel trap in at T2.

As for sounds people are exaggerating IMO. They're not bad but they're not amazing either.

There is no change at all in the track scenery ?

Not that I noticed.

Buildings appear to be the same, but again I stress that if you are driving "properly" your eyes should be nowhere near looking at buildings. They should be referencing brake marker, to turn in point, to apex, to exit point - then rinse and repeat.

If immersing yourself in the scenery is what you were truly desiring, I am sorry for your discontent. Glad I am happy

i did... twice! im going to try to reconfigure the internet settings. see if that does anything.
Try clearing the "internet cache" in the options menu under the network tab

You close your eyes on straights and in loading screens? Great if you are happy but there is no denying they have made a poor effort. To call these tracks 80's is misleading, they've only done half the job.

Senna content is beautiful. After finishing up the events, watched the Ayrton's wish film, beautiful. Such a fantastic collaboration. I have nothing but praise for this whole thing. I've learnt much about the man and his amazing legacy and his wonderful family. I'll say it once more, beautiful!

Samus makes a totally valid point and I don't know why PD is being so heavily defended. All they did with the old tracks is change the shape of the tarmac, that is a poor effort especially when you're making such a big deal about this celebration and content. Tiny teams with tiny budgets and massively inferior equipment have gone to the effort of recreating every aspect of the old circuits, while PD with a massive budget, team, experience and leap in technical equipment, haven't bothered.

It's not that I don't appreciate the new cars, but why did they not even bother trying to do anything with the tracks other than change the circuit layout? Like Samus said, it ruins the immersion. Would you be happy if everything looked like it was from Wipeout HD as long as the shape of the course was accurate?

You also cannot take 80's style photographs with new buildings, run off areas and crash barriers, you can only replicate an old car on a new track.

No I don't close my eyes, they stay focused down track, on the track - not outside the barriers. Loading screens.... Typically I'm off taking a 🤬 or drinking some water - possibly smoking a cigarette. Loading screens are just like commercial breaks - wish I had TiVo.

The celebration is focused on Senna and his cars - the tracks were a kicker bonus and not the main focus of the "celebration."

I now quote a movie, " some men just want to watch the world burn." I am glad that I don't have a pessimistic view and find everything that I can to pick apart. Try focusing on the good, there is plenty in this update and in other real places. Cheers.

You can use the cars wherever you want - you don't have to just do the challenges.

Yes. If only one of the problems with the game wasn't that the rest of the racing was extremely boring.

Also, you can press circle to skip the sideshows. ;)

Maybe after you watch them the first time you can, or maybe it's just because I was using a wheel, or maybe because I've got a JP PS3. But I mashed every button, and got nothing.

I wish they did the 80s track with all the 80s scenery and a pseudo 80s tv filter over the video to make it less HD-ish. Wld have been interesting. a man can dream...
