Yup, it's the same 4WD system present on the early Evos which also understeer like water-borne oil tankers in GT4.
Then again, what doesn't understeer in GT4?
Wow, September is almost done! I need to run some times for the final challenge tonight!

It's just 95 minutes to october where I am, and I only have 3 times in for the final track! Guess I'll delay posting the final results until I get up tommorrow morning.

My times are at home on the dining room table on a Post-It note. :dunce:
Sadly I forgot to submit them last night, but, to my credit, I've still got 8hrs & 40 mins of September left, and while I won't get home in the next 95mins, I will get times submitted by the end of September here! :P

Results for the final round: Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 @ Cote d'Azur

Code:
smallhorses	-7.237
shotamagee	-5.706
Car-less -5.568
one inch man	-4.996
amkobih -0.302
Baseline Bob	x:xx.xxx
SVX +0.386

As always, Bob was the most consistent with under 0.4 of a second between his first lap and his ultimate best lap. Amkobih on the other hand must have run a very careful sighter lap as his best lap was a little over 7 seconds quicker!

Actual laptimes are deliberately not given so as not to give late arrivals any target times to try and beat.

Adding the times together gives us:

Code:
[B]smallhorses[/B]	-2.299	-2.976	-8.949	-7.237	= [B]-21[/B].[SIZE="1"]461[/SIZE]
[B]shotamagee[/B] -2.375	-2.286	-7.205	-5.706	= [B]-17[/B].[SIZE="1"]572[/SIZE]
[B]Car-less[/B] -2.163	-2.535	-6.843	-5.568	= [B]-17[/B].[SIZE="1"]109[/SIZE]
[B]one inch man[/B]	-2.273	-2.699	-6.379	-4.996	= [B]-16[/B].[SIZE="1"]347[/SIZE]
[B]amkobih[/B] -1.067	-0.951	-2.832	-0.302	= [B]-5[/B].[SIZE="1"]152[/SIZE]
[B]Baseline Bob[/B]	-0	-0	-0	-0	= [B]0[/B].[SIZE="1"]000[/SIZE]

Congratulations to smallhorses for being the fastest overall, only being beaten once - by shotamagee at Motorland.

I have a plan for a race series similar to the sunday cup and Grand Prix Classics but which will also consider the bolded totals, but with so few of the main players having submitted times I might have to rethink things. Besides, with so many things needing to be done before the winter I really need to put the controller down and step away from the keyboard for a bit. In the meantime, if anyone else wants to submit some times I can edit them in, but no matter how fast you are the winner will not change.

Count me in for whatever you have planned already! :D
Hopefully your preparations for winter won't be too time consuming and it'll come along soon!
Thanks for organising this, too.
I'm off to make videos of my laps now, but I'll not post them here so as to give late arrivals a target, instead I'll PM the YouTube links to those that competed here. 👍
I also figure it's pointless to waste my time generating MAXDrive replays, given that they'll be NTSC format and thus of no use at all to anyone in the final results table given that you're all on PAL!!!

SVX
How embarrassing, I'm the slowest. Congrats Smallhorses.

Thanks :embarrassed:.
I'm just curious, how many laps did you try before submitting your times?
It takes me many 10s of laps to get fully quick, I usually drive a cautious "feeler" lap to get used to any car/track combo and gradually figure out where to shave off seconds here and there, and then start chipping away at 1/10ths and 1/100ths gradually. I probably drove 30 - 70 laps at each of these combos to come up with my final times.
