I have internet access yet cannot connect to GTS. I am getting the error code (NP-32470-6) When i checked playstation network service status, the only one in orange is gaming and social having issues. It explains "You may have some difficulty launching games, applications or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible and we thank you for your patience."

Just tried to log in here in the UK... dead. This is Christmas Day all over again...

I can't get on rocket league which was annoying as I was on fire until the servers were down. Can't sign in, but I can get into multiplayer on assetto Corsa. So some games work.

They are most definitely experiencing issues. Have you even read through this thread? You really think all these people from all across the world are just making this up? PlayStation has even acknowledged these problems for crying out loud.

Wasn't available in Canada 15 minutes ago before I turned it off. Also says here psn is experiencing difficulties with gaming and social.

Heh!! Lots of potential on here for 'Fake News'... what with people reporting that it's 'up and running'... consequently sending loads of people momentarily scurrying back to their PS4s hoping to be able to connect to the game's ludicrously function-dependant network... only to be met with that same 'you can't come in' error message...
I'll probably try it again tomorrow. To be fair, it's probably no bad thing for me to miss an evening's worth of being unceremoniously bashed off Dragon Trail at Turn 1 by an over-enthusiastic Gr.3 VW Beetle...

This is just a general statement, but it is staggering how poor psn is as a service.
It’s slow and infrequently just goes down. Since having my PS4 it’s gone down many times, yet all they do is up the price of PS+.
I’d cut most of the free games for a more reliable or faster service...

The server being down is a pain but **** happens. What isn't acceptable is being unable to play any of the offline modes/save progress whilst it is down, you can't even go into the car dealership. This just isn't Gran Turismo to me.

For me it seems PSN is not entirely down but rather... Partially down shall we say. Online gaming and social aspects are affected, as seen in a screenshot posted here somewhere.
EDIT: I've tried GTS, GTA V, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2 AND DIRT Rally. All having issues.
