server maintenance?

My B-spec Grinder says that there is server maintenance, I was planning on running it all night, anyone have a solution to this?

i have a usa account but now live in the uk , i was having that problem yesterday but just left it on and it managed to run a few races , not sure if the problem has been resolved

Have posted a few times in a similar thread in the Q&A section - I can't find any information on the server maintenance anywhere on PSN forums or twitter account. Works ok on the pS3 itself, but not on the GT5 or PSN websites.

GT any were Still does not allow login so Every thing Does not work.
Login server remains closed on MANY Sony sites. And It actualy Blocks the old Cookie that was stored in the browser.

I think the widget talks to the GT5 website and if the PSN is down (and hence login to the GT5 website is not possible), the widget will not work. I assume this is the case - the widget worked for me however and was running fine up until this morning (GMT - so around 7 hours ago).

Same here. The login for the website is unavailable, but you can remote race from your console.

Yeah, and this is a bummer. I was going to try the Remote Racing for the first time. I left the PS3 on at home, got to the office, attempted to sign in, and was greeted with that message.

Figures I haven't run the widget in two days and I come back to grind again, then there is this server issue. Oh well, I just wish I would have looked at the boards earlier so I could have just set up a 24h race.

My widget is working again but my browser still can't log into the website. Keep trying and it will work eventually.

Naw- at least I hope not. Its just that gran-tourismo.com is the servers that are down (the widget uses the same api for logging in there as your browser- why it won't work.
You can still log into the game and remote race just fine if you choose the race.
