Keep railing on this, one way or another they either get it and fix this or pay the consequences of bad word of mouth. I really enjoy the game when the server issues aren't intruding on my fun, but if I have to put up with flawed idea of online only save or to do anything of worth then I don't have to support PD beyond this title. So everyone voice your displeasure, doesn't matter if we don't keep it in their ears they won't hear. For change to occur someone has to get the ball rolling, I want my game to function regardless of the internet status of my system.

PD get your priorities straight, either give us separate online and offline profiles or lose the whole online only way the game is accessible, arcade mode by itself is UTTERLY USELESS without the ability to save your earnings. So how do you expect your userbase to enjoy the game if you have server malfunctions that keep them from playing the game in a meaningful way at all when the internet goes awry? Too hung up on preserving integrity of save files that you impose ridiculous restrictions on the game and in turn the user. Thanks for that, I game to have fun but now I feel like someone is telling me how and when to have fun. I have money and options, so it will behoove you all to get your priorities in order. No one will speak good of your game if they can barely play it every time the internet takes a walk. So if you want the game to be successful fix it else suffer the consequences. I do not expect this sort of shoddy shortsightedness from a nearly 85% offline game, nowhere does it say online only on the packaging(does it? I bought digital). Despite the games' leading to online racing, that is no excuse for this nonsense to be heaped upon the user.

Not sure but I think PD uses the DC farms of Sony and I cannot imagine they are not aware of 'always on' technology and they already have it in place. Site mirroring without user interuption is now and not in the future. Global corporations who can expect millions of concurrent users like Sony use these solutions already. Right?

Now it looks like PD has an old PowerEdge server somewhere under a desk and then someone troubleshoots this server and noticed that the number of connections/users exceeds the expected number. "hurry up and give me that extra harddisk and DIMM but I have to take the server down for some time". Sounds and is very amateuristic especially when you expect from your clients who use your products they always need an online internet connection. Its 2017 not 1997 when downtime was acceptable :)

But when it works it's a great game!
