The car in question was actually made in 1989, and two setups for it are listed in the Wiki under Jaguar XJR-9 - here (by Duck) and here (by Team666)

There isn't a roadcar version of the XJR-9 - you're probably thinking of the XJ220, which was a road car adapted for racing. The XJR-9 was a Le Mans Group C car from the start, and never homogolated.
