Always had a thing for the perhaps underrated 105-series Giulia saloon, mostly overshadowed by the more glamourous coupé and race versions but I think it's one of the best executed 'simple 3 box saloon' designs ever, the detailing is so exquisitely subtle and to my eyes at least very sexy (it's also more aerodynamic than a Ford Sierra strangely enough).
Before I was kinda "meh," but these GT86s are really growing on me. A Rocket Bunny FR-S, HKS supercharged:
Nissan needs to bring back the 240/Silvia, Toyota the MR2, Mitsubishi the Starion... and I don't know, the S roadster or something from Honda. Cheap sports cars with potential are too cool.
And of course the infamous Boss 302 T/A (both '69 and '70).
This engine is inaccurate but close. The real engine had a cross ram intake they called a cross-boss that had 2 1250cfm 4bbl Holley's on it that fed up to 2,500 cubic feet of air a minute into the engine at WOT. The distributor had to be relocated to fit the huge intake. The late model Autolite inline 4v versions were known to suck up to 1425cfm per carb. 2850cfm. Whoa.
We never dynod the car. It was the stealth model. Can ran 13.1 with smoke rolling off thru 330 feet on street tires, it was an absolute beast. First time we put slicks on it the oil pump lucked up, twisted teh **** outta the pump feed shaft and put a rod thru the block. Ended up selling the car for parts. I think ti woulda ran low 12's tho, my Camaro for sure feels quicker than it did. 1000 less to haul around too lol
