That 3.0 CSL is utterly fantastic. I would take one in a second, although I would have to remove the rear screen spoiler, I've never really liked it. What a car though! I remember seeing an immaculate yellow one here a couple of years ago and have been in love with them ever since.

I don't usually (if ever) post my own photos in this thread, but on Sunday I found a new location for snapping and the angle makes cars look pretty mean and snarly.

Holy crap! I know the owner of this car!
This guy is in the same car club I am in, the R Gruppe. That car has 911S/T flares and a 3.2 in it. Absolutely awesome car in person. Has the 911R center-fill gas tank too, with an OEM filler cap. The flares were cut off a car that had them factory equipped and welded on to the new car by the owner, and have since been used as a model for re-pro S/T flares.
If I'm not mistaken, that is the owner driving and one Randy Wells (Excellence magazine writer/photographer) riding shotgun.

Roof kinda looks like a GTR and rear looks like a hybridized 599

The only thing that looks like A GT-R to me is the start of the roof and don't really see much 599 resemblance, I just know that it looks beautiful

GT-40s were excluded from Le Mans Legends this weekend. Just too fast after all of these years (although it was the Listers who did exceptionally well for never being that great in their day).
