An ironing board and a dining room chair does the job pretty well, hasn't faulted me yet!
Ironing board HAHAHA!!!!! how do you manage with that? I still have trouble with mine even when doing my Ironing lol (unstable, bouncy and can fall over easily with a little nudge)

*cough* you should get that cold checked out *cough*;)
you need to get that cold checked out too with the doctors when you go on tuesday 👍 I think you caught it from true

Super GT turbo charged ironing with a 100% boost nitrous mate!
now you're making me feel sorry for my ironing board which has to go through all the pain of having a turbo powred iron running on it with nitrous and running on a heavy engine speeding up and down it, every time I wanna wear my washed clothing

I have done running today in all cars and 3 new cars next season - I have decided which 3 shall be dropped and which 3 are coming in for S2. It is secret until after round 3, but I will say, we have a Road-Rally car and a supercar joining in s2

I got all the cars (except the ones already taken) so I am ready for Tuesday testing. Maybe I can squeeze in some tests today but between GT3 testing and race and watching DTM, I doubt it.

Alrighty mate :P I was just finishing my s2 testing so :P tell me your times in call cars by the way, helps me with s2 decision (in pm)

You must be ironing right at the bleeding edge of limit, mate.

I'll be honest, not much ironing gets done on it! It's pretty stable, I find my ps3 controller and phone sometimes fall off when the wheels feedback decides to kick like a mule though.

Only downside to my setup is my drink is about a metre away, have to lean one-handed to get it!

well I can kinda imagine it being stable if it was lower down but if it was adjusted to be very high then I can only see it all fall over if you turned the wheel quickly lol

I have it on the second to lowest setting, I'm only 5 ft 7 so don't need it to be that high!

Scores are looking good, nice to see me and Stig did equally bad. If everyone was here I doubt I'd have got the points!

don't be so hard on yourself, Bathurst is a chore at night :P

True, also out of curiosity who uses manual transmission? I found it gives a massive boost off the grid compared with people using auto.
for 14 years I have used PAD, I used analgue when it first came out, always used manual though

I was on the pad until about 3 weeks ago, still getting used to wheel and manual tbh, finding counter steer and recovering from spins pretty difficult still

i use my mates wheel sometimes but you should pick it up soon :)

Oh thats why you were struggling for grip, everyone is like that at first with wheel and soon everyone gets used to it :)
& manual all the way, it gives you more control over your gear shifting (you decide when to change gear and not the car)

I've already found I can slow down quicker than with auto already, rather than hammer the brake I can use the gears to help
you can avoid hitting the rev limiter off the line or on exit or get out a drift early, you can shift down quicker before a corner, you can stay in the higher gear to avoid wheel spin or shift up early to avoid oversteer or to keep revs low and you can use engine braking etc. there are alot of benefits that u don't get with auto

Pretty much got it with manual now, tried to do a few laps without it and found I was dropping a second on my best times with manual.

It was pretty weird as well, kept on using the paddles to try and change up/down!

Rear drive cars are still giving me a bit of a hard time with the wheel though, going to buy a Toyota 86 and give it a practice tonight. Will start unmodified and gradually get more power until I can control it.

Then jump in my loctite NSX and see if I can handle it!
