Just tried your tune, how is it possible to get those times i'm busting my nuts and the best i can get out of it is a 1:35.xxx, is there a short cut i'm not aware of.

I have an Impreza and threw a very similar setup at it as I did on my TT. Seemed to work fine, but it was slower than the Audi in general. Car has a lot of grip but seems to lack torque.

I'm feeling you.... tried the TTS tune from the topic and hardly get the 1:35.XXX... don't know why. I'm pushing hard (just to say it in the words of Vale Rossi ), driving smooth, but it seems that I'm driving a bad line or brake at the wrong points.
I have no idea....

Used the edk tune for My n300 lancer Evo... im happy with that ...
Is Here some good tune for the gtr on Dragon trail??

Any updated GT-R Gr.4 Setups? Currently on a 1.51.318 which i think is ok but i dont think many people are gunning for it on that track, i'll share setup when i figure out how to lol.

I actually had to tweak his tune to get faster times - ended up with a understeery but fast tune. Yours is equally fast but not understeering at all. Just saying. His tune is good, don't get me wrong. Just that it's best for Brands Hatch and his tune is on page two I believe.

Talking about transmition, i still can access the game but i´ve spent my time with an excel (thanks to Seveners lotus seven blog )

Transmition settings don´t seems so effective than in GT6 or 5 , we would need to test it with ghost replay records one above the other to be sure, but here is what you can do with a custom gearbox. Theroretically, you can set all gears above the max torque rpm and as far as possible in the power curve.
This is for a Hyundai genesis gr4 that have a relatively short powerband.

Stock gearbox : For race cars GR4 or 3 , it´s already an excelent gearbox setted for a high speed track.

Custom gearbox : you can use it only moving the top speed setting, but then you can have a very short or too long 1st gear that will make you loose some place at a standing start.

Optimized: then we would have first to set a final gear to reach the top speed of a specific track and set a good first gear to perform a good standing start.

EDIT: You can also check that the given speed result by gear ratio of the GTS panel is not very accurate.
By the numbers , if the speed of the standard Genesis Hyundai gearbox is
for 6th gear ratio 0,926 = 291 kmh
1st gear ratio 3,442 = 78 kmh not 73 kmh as indicated on the panel.

You use tire roll distance 2093 should you use 2130(street wheel 245/45R18) or 2133.14(track wheel 245/40R19) as it's on real life on genesis rear wheel? (Front S 225/45R18 snd T 225/40R19 are 2073.45 and 2082.88)
Maybe your values aren't matching?

I enter the tire perimeter value by approximation, till the speed match with the one given by PD on the setting panel for the last gear (or any of them) This is the GR4 car.

Well managed to do a 1:50.585 which felt a terrible lap in all sectors , too much slowing down for my liking. I can sleep easier now though but it will bug me not getting more out the car and putting in a more tidy lap, I can envision close to perfect lap but can't string it together. Need to improve my pad skills, testament to how good the controls are with DS4 in this game that even a so so pad player like me can get ahead of Arnaud. I guess it won't be for long though, too much time on the table. I'm just happy to see first position for a change instead of being many seconds off for not having a GT-R on this new track I like.

6th gear is very long on this. Is there an advantage with longer gearing?

Got a 1:28.316 on Willow with the Evora last night. Here's my setup for it. Hope it helps!

Forgot to take a screenshot of the LSD settings. They are 8/20/8

To get my gear ratios, reset to default, set final to max, then top speed to minimum and you should be able to match my values.
