when I try to install the sharkport program, I get this error message...c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications. choose close to terminate the application. anyone knows whats going on?

will sharkport work on ps2 50001?????

are there different versions of sharkport???

on the back under the bar code it says SharkPort: G-22261G SM what versions of ps2 will it work on?

I have the SharkPort for GS2 v1.8 and when I bought it the cd would not boot my PS2. After further research I learned that the original PS2's were series 30000 and my PS bought in a Red GT3 Combo Kit was a series 35000. I had to email GameShark and have them send me a new boot disc fot his newer version of PS2. I have updated my SharkPort software to version 2.2 and I am using it on XP Pro. I do not have my original box but I have had it for several years now. My cable is a Black cable with a Black Bulge in the center of it.

First off, what region are you in/using?

I have the us software. Mine came with a light grey cord, so maybe there are different versions. I have an older sharkport....not sure if there is a newer version out now.

Have you tried running the setup.exe off the disc...not autorun?

edit: Okay I found my box and it says the same thing as yours under the upc. I'm running win2k so it should run in xp.

The number one problem with this, is the PS2 50001 does not read the standard issue Sharkport/X-Port. You can e-mail Datel (im not sure if they still make the discs) and they will send you a new ps2 disc for free. But thats the only imput i have for it.
