Has anyone got a tuning setup for this car as it is terrible at taking corners as stock it just goes off at every corner.

i need it so that i can do the Muscle car champ without issue at the moment it is 624BHP.

Thanks

Try this:

Transmission- 224 mph (of course, this depends on the track)
LSD- 15/45/25
Ride Height- -20/-20
Spring Rate- 6.0/5.8
Dampers (Extension)- 7/7
Dampers (Compression)- 5/6
Anti- Roll Bars- 4/4
Camber- 2.2/2.0
Toe- -0.05/.035

There is still more fine tuning possible, it is a work in progress...

I will give these settings a shot , I just realised that my car did not have a fully alterable trans in it though but it does now.

GT5's settings are close to the above but i think that might just make the difference

like i say i will try them and get back to you

Nice one livewire thanks , the handling is def better , iam going to see if i can refine it a little more the back end still is still skitting around a bit but it is def more stable at high speed in and out of corners.

But a suggestion i case anyone else asks for the same help in the future , this car needs racing tyres with this setup otherwise the setting changes make no difference.

I wonder if i slam it to the ground a little more whether it will sort it out.

Glad I could help. I am pretty sure I was using sport tires initially, I use whatever Bob has to use. Definitely requires good throttle control, which is hard with my DS3.

I would get Limited Slip Diff and try playing with that. I always meant to, but never did. Maybe that will be my project for the long weekend. I am thinking of raising all three settings, but probably acceleration the most.

I was also thinking about adding a little more rear camber, to try to keep it from kicking out exiting the corner under acceleration.

Did you do the 7/7 extension settings?

Thank you so much! After trying for hours and getting 2nd at best on Deep Forest, I tried your settings and got 1st after just a few tries. I had too much camber and too much torque on the LSD. Aside from that our tuning was pretty close, but you had that extra bit to get me in 1st.

Thanks again!

BTW: This was by far the hardest thing I've had to do in the game so far, including all special events and license tests (bronze at least).

I'll give your Cobra settings a shot later in B-Spec with my Bob. He's been able to get as high as 3rd before spinning into oblivion on Deep Forest. I nailed this event in A-Spec using a Z-28 RM (tuned to the specs posted at Mad Finn (sp?) Tuning Garage) and Racing softs - good for lap times in the range of 1m:15s.
