Now, is this is a mod for the standard V6, very impressive. Not that I like Ford at all, but the new mustang is a decent car. I'm surprised they didn't go for the GT's though.
yea they have what its called "different" motor on it..........

I would buy that car just for the looks. Although i do prefer the gt500 over this, can't pass up a shelby. I donno if these are rare in america, but i'm yet to see a shelby in australia EVER. I saw my first hummer the other day on the road though.... no car show convention.

If that pulled up next to me at a light, I'd still be laughing. Not because I was gonna win the race (far from it...), but because some idiot spent $5,000 (maybe more) over the price of a Mustang GT for 50hp and the Shelby name. Given that money you can probably get a Mustang GT supercharged to at least 400hp.

I'd almost be willing to bet that a stock GT would beat this V6 anyways.

You mean 140hp increase?

350 - 210 = 140.

Pretty good looking car in my opinion.

While I find this wholly a very cool thing...
The super charger ups the power by 125 HP from the stock figure.
For the way I drive, and because it's "ol' Shel" I'd drop the cash if I had it.

But for a bit more excitement, See the Hertz ad in the latest issue of R&T magazine.
The GT-350H is back.

Hertz gave me a Mercury Milan last week :grumpy:

I wonder if they would even consider giving a GT-350H to an "underage" driver :D

BTW, who picked 25? That seems rather arbitrary and pointless.

Yes, but the point stands. Why pay the extra money for an "exclusive" Shelby model that won't do much to out-perform the standard GT, much less the new Ford Racing/Shelby developed Shelby GT. I'd rather have the V8 under the hood than some boosted V6, and I think that goes much the same for most people.

The one and only time a V6 version of an American pony car got my blood boiling was the '89 Trans-Am Turbo from Pontiac. It was the fastest Firebird ever built untill the 2002 WS6, but given it simply had the engine and transmission from the Buick GNX, I'd almost rather have the Buick instead.
