I'd would go further and say
"GT5 simply can't capture the fun and excitement of racing at all"

I have never sweated playing a racing game until Shift 2 even if at some point I struggled with GT5 (FGT events)

You have a point.

But I will still give GT5 credit by saying that driving in the rain at night at Circuit de la Sarthe or Nurburing is amazing, which is why I'm looking forward to endurance race saves. Unfortunately, that's all I can give PD credit for as far as racing is concerned. :indiff:

Now, if we could have rain added to Shift for all tracks, that would be insane. :scared:

Tell me about it. Plus you can do it with a shopping cart or a LMP1 👍

Some don't even have decent lighting to add for the experience.

And I'll keep my copy just for those endurance races... after the game save feature.

Shift 2 with rain scares me just by thinking of it :nervous: Even day to night transitions would add another level... But I digress :D

PS: I was surprised to know I'm not the only one panicking over making a mistake on the last lap, last turn. Even with a bit of a lead a simple mistake can cost a position or two :)

Imagine how people with a few seconds off your pace (e.g. me ;)) feel. :D I think I might need a pair of new pants.

Playing the GT3 series now. Before this series, I was able to just enter on most of the tracks that I didn't know yet, but not here. Now I must practice and tune first. 👍 Winning feels very rewarding. :)
