I just got Shift 2 (PS3) and I am truly enjoying all the original tracks from Shift 1 when I used to play at least 10-15 hrs a week for about 6mo's to nothing. I burned out on the game and haven’t played it for at least 6 mo if not more. Now that I have had a night to play it and enjoy the old favorites in the game it brought back some fond memories.
After I tried the new tracks I found out that I need more time on them and the learning curve came into play. The graphics are fine and the cars are fun. I made it to level 14 in about 4 hrs without a single freezup or even a glitch, I will go through the game again on my other login just to get more familiar w/ all the little things in the game. Overall it is more fun then the NASCAR game and the less forgiving GT5.
If you liked Shift 1 and weren’t totally up to here w/ the style and handling aspects of this series within the franchise, then your driving sensibilities will be in for a fun drive. I am happy that I now have this game to bring a little variety to my GT5 and NASCAR driving time.
