Shift 2 trade in

How much do you think I can get for trading in shift 2 at gamestop for the ps3? And I'm sure someone will ask why I want to turn it in so I will just say it now. I want to trade it in because I can't drive the cars because of the crap handling and there are way too many other good racing games out their where developers cared about their game. So I need to get rid of it.

How about just taking it to gamestop and finding out ? Try ringing them and asking !! instead of looking for sympathy/trolling .
If you spent some time with steering settings , and tuning like everyone else has to do , then you'd probably find its a completely different game .
I was exactly the same when i first got it , probably worse for me because it was only the second racing game i'd ever bought , but thanks to the help from these guys on GT Planet , and spending some time adjusting and trying out settings the game is way fun to play , especially online with these guys .
So my advice would be to stop belly aching , read up on settings posted on here , and spend some time getting to know the game , patience is a virtue .
Obviously the game has its problems , but you can greatly reduce these problems by settings and tuning .
Suck it up and enjoy it

Yeah it's obvious you want some attention because the time and effort you spent asking about how much you could get for the game could have been time spent on gamestop.com finding out without having to post here wineing and complaining. Plus its common sense that you often get maybe half of what you paid for the game so you are looking at around $25-30.00 if that. Now that your question has been answered I'm hoping a moderator will lock this thread and the meaningless babble you brought with it. P.S. every racer has noobs who crash into you online not just s2u.

I would Think you would get anywhere from 25 to 35 bucks for it. They don't usually offer more then that on trade ins.

Anyways, I traded my copy in about a week and a half ago, and got 25€ for it, so 25 to 30$ sounds appropriate.

Muso made a great point as well. In the time he makes a post, and waits for an answer he could have...well found out exactally. So what was the point?

Then he talks about all the racing games out there that are so much better. Really? Like what? Sorry but racing games are rare on the PS3. Actually, I've seen quite alot of the same things said about GT5. Hell, there's one guy on the news page constintly saying crap "gt5 sucks!!! im gettin forza 4!" so its not like its just Shift getting these kind of comments.

Seen all these with GT5 as well, actually its seems like the Online crashfest thing seems to be an overall racing game excuse everytime a game comes out and people find punters online.

We could care less if you don't like S2U and would not try to sway your opinion. We may try to get you to understand the intricacies of this title but if you are not a true racer you may never understand.

It is just a waste of a post for this type of question but then again if you are 12 years old you may be clueless to what games can be resold for.
