Shorter credit grinds

I guess he meant the 3 round chili one. Don't think you can do 5 rounds in 3 minutes there.
Yes, obviously the 3 lap one, which is just over 3 minutes. Easy to win with a turbo'ed car.

Rally is painful though... for me anyway.
You don't need to do miracles to win, thankfully. Just need to pay attention and not take excessive risks.

I used to hate Tokyo so much. I have come to a point where I actually enjoy grinding it. It has made me a better road car driver in this game and given me a better understanding of the feel of cars at that level. The nuance in it takes (or at least took me) some amount of time to learn and I feel like it carries over to other aspects of this game. It has made me better on the whole. Plus it gives me a Zen feeling when I can CRB and win with super consistent lap times. To each his own, though.

Somewhat interestingly I do notice some people asking for games that involve a lot of 'grinding' on 'Should I buy this game' reddit.

I guess some find grinding, on certain games, fun/therapeutic/relaxing for whatever the reason.
For me, something like Old School RuneScape is exactly that. It helps my ADHD brain stay on task by providing a second thing to do that isn't very demanding for my attention. Stimulating, but not too much. I mainly play it as a secondary activity. If I'm having a bad day, it can be relaxing to just click a tree every once in a while with something to watch on the side. Feels like I'm doing something, but doesn't take much commitment or mental energy.

Racing games? I can't really do anything else while I play. It demands my full focus. Where a 5 hour grind in OSRS can come and go and be barely felt, a 5 hour grind in a racing game is 5 hours of paying full attention to one repetitive task. It's too much. 20 hours in OSRS, I'll feel it, but it's entirely tolerable. 20 hours in a racing game? I can't do it.

I do the WTC700 Bathurst. 7 laps for 15-16 minutes. 237,000 CRB. I use my Gr.4 Supra on RM or RS, as the lead AI cars use RM and RS. Good challenge, but the AI are slow into the Dipper. Have to be careful there and they brake deep into the Chase. I love the circuit so it’s not a pain to run it back to back.

There are definitely different kinds of grinding. I played Runes of Magic for years and the open world grinding for collectibles was indeed quite relaxing. But grinding for Talent Points was completely different. Only effective way was doing dungeons, which are meant to be done by six or twelve ppl groups, on your own. It was possible when your level (and therefore damage) was high enough but it was extremely stressful 'cause when you got the timing wrong just once you were dead 'cause every single mob kills you with one hit. And you couldn't even take a break 'cause all your buffs, foods and potions had a timer. Still was fun somehow🙂

So yeah, a certain level of grinding is ok and can keep you engaged. The problem with GT7 is just the low amount of races which are worth grinding. Just bring all the payouts on about the same level - boom, much more variety and therefore more fun in grinding! There's really no reason for Le Mans paying 800k or so for half an hour while the same time on Nordschleife just gives you a fraction of this. Let players choose what tracks they wanna do!

Depending on how far you are into it the licence tests are good for car gifts and circuit experience is very profitable.

The popular credit grinds that I’ve read about are around 24-28 minutes depending on skill level. What are some shorter 4-8 minute options? I read about race 1 of the Pan American championships. That pays $35,000 for 4-5 minutes. Are there better alternatives? Someone said to check out Circuit Experience.
For me personally I have my all-time go to which is the Trial Mountain Hyper-Car Parade (TM/HCP).. take your fastest road car (for me it's my completely built Enzo Ferrari @958HP), spend under 10mins., get your 100k flat, or 150k with a CRB.. that's money in the bank, quick and to the point without spending hours upon hours for that bigger bank roll.. it's enjoyable, the scenery, the driving, the payout, & in under 10mins.. yeah i'll take that 150 all day!

Doing this twice a day makes much more sense to me than any of the longer grind races.

I can imagine the scenario explained by another forum user recently, that you've just missed the start of Race C by a few minutes. So you have 20 minutes to kill, it's perfect.

Yessir.. and the best part is blowing the field to pieces & then it just becomes a matter of chasing that rabbit (clock) for pb's.. again, money in the bank.. for what i'm not quite too sure.. by this stage in GT7 you should have all the cars you could possibly want.. for me ? it's become more about just enjoyable driving whenever I want, wherever I want, without putting others at risk IRL.. hell yeah, uh oh, now I got that itch again.. have a great weekend gentlemen..

Just a taste from a couple weeks back from the TM/HCP..
